More questions about American Idol and it all comes back to this question; does your vote count? New information today raising questions about the credibility of the show. Two sources now claiming this to Howard 100 News: American Idol finalist Jordin Sparks has allegedly been assigned a “Makeover Team,” something the other two remaining contestants are not getting, according to our sources. And it’s a situation the other two contestants are said to be upset about. That reported Makeover Team allegedly includes a personal trainer, a dietician and a stylist. So does this claim that Jordin Sparks is getting special treatment in the home stretch mean something? Could it be an indicator that the final results of the show have already been determined? Howard 100 News working tirelessly on this story and acknowledging it’s entirely possible this information was planted with our sources. Still no response from FOX Television to Howard 100 News’ repeated inquiries.

TV just got a lot 'whiter,' says a canceled George Lopez
By Maria Elena Fernandez Los Angeles Times Staff Writer May 14, 2007

George Lopez, the first Latino to lead a television series successfully, isn't laughing. "TV just became really, really white again," he said.

ABC, he said, has "unceremoniously" canceled his self-titled comedy, which over the years chronicled his personal life from his sad childhood growing up with an abusive grandmother, to his alcoholism and kidney transplant.

"The George Lopez Show" will live on in syndication, but that's not making Lopez feel better about not getting the chance to tell one final season of stories. Lopez said Steve McPherson, ABC president of prime-time entertainment, called him over the weekend to explain that "financially" it wasn't working out, that the network would lose money if it picked up the show again.

Oh no it was really funny. The whole board is cracking up over your excessive wit and I'm sure TV-aholic has a position for you writing at his favorite show 30 Rock. Keep 'em coming - you are hysterical! Ha, ha, ha, ha...

By the way - enjoyed the King of Queens finale. I'm glad it got a nice send off too at the end. At least CBS knows how to treat their shows.

I was reading some articles about the new Heroes:Origins spin-off to air in the midseason break next season. It said that there were going to be 6 spin-off episodes, bringing the total number for next season to 30. So did NBC order 24 non-spinoff episodes of Heroes for next season?

Even if there's a bit of a ratings surge, I say 5 million tops. No one seems to care about the CW anymore. 7th Heaven and Gilmore Girls - two monster WB shows - have just lost their power. I will be surprised if GG reaches a season high for the finale.

Please. The show should have been cancelled years ago. They gave it LOST's timeslot and it gave it to the rival networks. I think even FREDDIE outrated it.

Don't worry George. Your buddy Mencia is doing FANtastic!!

I didn't watch George Lopez much. When I did, I thought it was a funny family sitcom. However, the ratings have been quite low for some time. To try and infer that race or ethnicity played a role in the cancellation (the "tv is whiter" comment), is not really accurate.

Lopez's show is not, and will not be, the only show with minorities.

Stern is desperately trying to stir interest in his radio program, which has lost listeners in droves since he jumped to satellite radio.

Yeah, I can't agree with GLo here. The show was canceled because of the ratings, plain and simple.

Exactly. Katherine McPhee was a much better singer. And no way Chris Daughtry finishes 4th.
