I still don't understand why CSI: Miami is down 5 million. Come on, there isn't any competition. NBC...NOTHING...ABC...the crappy show (s) that they offer. So, I'm confused.

That's why ABC should move Brothers and Sisters to Monday behind either the Greys spinoff or Dancing next year. I think they could compete at least in the demo for the win.

Leave Jack, Chloe and Bill alive and a few others, preferably Karen, Tom and Logan. Maybe Morris. But kill off at least 50%. That'll take the intrigue back.
I think they did that last year and everyone was raving about it....
Despite the fact that I'm a fan of CSI:M, Horatio's one liners are getting cheesier by the minute. I'm at the point where I just ignore him.

Maybe not so much raving about the killing of cast members as the new characters and plot were compelling and tightly interwined as the main story. The Logan's arc was not only strong but also central to the Jack arc and the early character deaths. There was one central story, this year it's been a little of this and a little of that surrounding Jack's emotional journey and rebirth but the distractions of the side stories this year instead of supporting that arc, has been diluting it.

CSI Miami is off 5 million? I don't ever recall CSI Miami averaging 21 million viewers. Also, CSI Miami was only .1 off Heroes demo number. I'm not a fan of CSI Miami but I think it has rebounded nicely this week.
Well, not 21million, but about 20. And I agree with the poster that posted the comment about the writing. I don't watch the show anymore b.c the writing has gotten so cheesy and lame.

I was hoping Heroes would show more improvement when the FInal numbers came in. But, since it was the top show in the Demo for the night, I don't think its in that much trouble.
I seriously can'y think of anyone who watched last night's episode would not come back to see what Future!Hiro will tell about the World Five Years Later. Is it President Petrelli now? Is it First Lady Niki, or First Lady Jessica?
And won't DWTS eventually go to one hour when more of the C-Listers are Eliminated?
Bad News for DRIVE, though.

Lesson to all nets: When you take a show off the air for 6 weeks during its season (or in the case of Lost, 3 months), the ratings suffer no matter how much you promote it. Lost, Jericho, ER, Heroes, etc.

It isn't as if NBC hadn't used every possible medium -- internet, mobile, etc. -- to get the word out about the show's return. I wonder if the future for all serialized shows will be the "24"-style uninterrupted model from now on? Heroes' 7-week break and its "pod" system are apparently not working.
Marc and Travis, do you guys get gender breakdowns for all shows? Can the loss for Heroes be attributed to women deserting it for DWtS?
