I can't believe how How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory are growing. Remember last year, when we were discussing if HIMYM would be renewed? It's funny.

Compared to year-ago occupant Rules of Engagement (Viewers: 10.77 million; A18-49: 4.0/ 9 on Nov. 12, 2007), Worst Week was down by 1.15 million viewers and 32 percent in the demo.

Time to dump Worst Week. Use Encores at 9:30 and then launch Rules... in Mid January

A 2.7 in the demo... pathetic!

I can't agree more. A 2.7 demo is bordering on ridiculous for a 9:30 show. When is CBS finally going to see the light with this show. I think they swap wW with GU before they get rid of WW completely.

I still don't think HIMYM was in danger of non-renewal. TNAoOC was the show that needed to worry. As for the comedies growing, this is the time of year when most shows should be growing, especially the 8pm shows: timeclock change, colder weather, sweeps stunts, etc...

Speaking of losses, NBC’s Heroes sunk to a series-low 7.82 million viewers (#3) and a 3.6/ 8 among adults 18-49 (#2) at 9 p.m.

Has NBC released an Up-to-date, Official Mid Season Schedule?
you gotta believe they have got to do something else with Heroes. If/when it returns after the new Year, it may be lucky to have 6 million viewers. We fans are dropping like flys from it. Its just getting awful.

I must admit the network made a brilliant move with the time slot change. Both shows have really improved the time slot numbers. I think HIMYM was one of those shows that needed a compatible lead in show to take off. They both have flourished.

Yeah, but the big growth is not the growth from the beginning of this season to now, but the growth from what they were doing this time last year. The time slot growth from this year from last year is outstanding.

Not that I've seen. The way NBC is going, I'd expect plenty of Deal Or No Deal, Dateline, and Most Outrageous Moments hours. It's that bad. Eeker Let's just hope they don't have to ask USA Network for repeats.

That's understandable. There are a lot of good shows on TV. I have no problem with people who aren't watching because they prefer something else. My complaint is with those who don't watch, yet go out of their way to spread negative information about a show that they aren't watching. I don't watch Prison Break or Chuck, but I don't go post on boards about how bad they are. It's petty and stupid.

Hey, give a little credit to the competition.

The (lack of) qulaity has everything to do with its sad ratings. Most of us fans are fed up with it. It is no where near the show it was two seasons ago. It keeps running in place. Nothing new, nothing interesting. Once the Sweeps are over, I'm done with the show, unless they can knock my socks off with the next two episodes.

It will never happen, but I still say a Chuck, Office, Earl thursday lineup would work very well.

Chucks numbers are on par with Earl's, right now.

But NBC will never get rid of 30 Rock, even once they see the steady drop in the ratings, that will happen... is happening.

I don't know where to stick Heroes. It's become an expensive disaster. 9 PM isn't working. 10 PM will just kill that spot

Can you believe there was a time when a spin off ORIGINS was green lighted...its hard to believe now.

Thanks for saying some nice words about Christina Applegate Marc..she truly is fabulous in SAMANTHA WHO and is so versital that I find it hard to believe she's the same actress the played Kelly Bundy?
