We have to see what kind of buzz will 90210 get over the summer. With great buzz i think it might premiere with 4-5 million and settle around 3 million which for CW isn't bad. On the other hand Filthy Rich might bomb really badly (altghou the premise of the show doesn't sound so bad actually)

Filthy Rich sounds just filthy and I think viewers will see Gossip Girl wannabe and run the other way and if that meant Reaper getting the Tuesday 9pm slot post-90210, I wouldn't have one bit of a problem with it.
I don't see Surviving the Filthy Rich doing that well. The name alone is off-putting, just like how "Gossip Girl" only appeals to females. I also don't think it's necessary to have another show about the "rich", Gossip Girl and 90210 are enough. The idea of building a network around Gossip Girl seems ludricous. I can understand finding a companion show on the same night, but not making almost every night the same thing.
Kinda intrigued what kind of spin they'll put on 90210. I can't wait til the following year when they bring back Melrose Place and Models, Inc. Linda Gray and Heather Locklear should be able to wheelchair themselves around.
To be serious, bummed about Back To You. I liked the show from the beginning. I think the strike hurt that show. I actually found the weather girl funny. Fox shouldn't of burned those last 2 episodes and brought it back at once as a AI lead-out.

I'm a librarian, and I can tell you books like Gossip Girl and the one the new How to Survive the Filthy Rich is based on go like wildfire. Actually, there's a popular series called "The Clique" that probably would work for CW; the only problem is they'd have to adapt it and make the characters older (the books are set in a private middle school)...the Gossip Girl spin off book series, "The It Girl", could also work...

To wet our appetites, WMC only tied a repeat of CM and probably will get beat in the finals. Idol rebounded some.
That was a great episode of WMC last night, much better than the first two from the new crew following the strike. I wish ABC would bring it back for midseason 2009 -- I still think it's a better bet on Friday than the reality shows. WMC has shown incredible resiliency with around 8 million viewers for the majority of its airings. I wish now they had given it a lower profile timeslot for these 3 episodes to show that it can pull those numbers regardless. The DWTS lead-in raised expectations. ABC, please re-consider giving WMC a midseason order!!

Wife Swap and Supernanny will pull in better demos most likely at a much cheaper cost. Its a good move imo.
