I'm not sure CBS will waste time with Moonlight. If they do, it will be for 13 I think and at midseason and I can almost guess the timeslot it will air in: Tuesday 10pm for a few weeks before bottoming out and giving the slot up to something else.

1. This night is a joke overall but the biggest joke is ABC, which should just pull Duel for 2 hour 20/20. Perhaps encores of WMC can air at 8 in the coming weeks.

3. CBS had a terrible night considering how the competition was downright pathetic. Moonlight doesn't deserve a renewal anymore. 4. NBC's chimps are starting to get dumber than ABC's with their over dependence on the likes of Most Outrageous Moments. Why couldn't Las Vegas return for a final 6 eps this spring to take some pressure off the repeats? So dumb...

Friday night is pathetic and that's too bad. I know a lot of people stay in during the winter (when it's cold) on Friday evenings, and good programming is needed.

Have the networks just written off Friday nights?

I agree. It almost seems like the networks went from 7 nights to 6 nights, and now to 5 nights of programming. CBS seems to be the only one even trying to program on Friday nights.

NBC has turned Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights into a waste land. It seems that all they have programmed is Law & Order, Deal or No Deal, and Medium. That's it.

CBS is the only net trying to revive these waste lands, at least CBS offers original 48 Hours Mystery on Saturday nights.

I actually do think its hurt Numb3rs a bit and perhaps even Ghost Whisperer because the total viewership in the key timeslot of the whole night is now down by 3 million viewers, dragging down Numb3rs. Ghost Whisperer probably also benefited from Close to Home fans last year but no serious damage has been done. Still, the show shouldn't be airing there in the fall. Keep it for midseason if something new completely bottoms out.

I'm not sure anyone has a clue what you're talking about. People here are here to talk about ratings. Its why we're here. Not that a little show discussion isn't positive here or there, but when we make comments about programs, its mostly about their ratings. I personally thought Moonlight was terrible but I hated Buffy and Angel too so I never thought it would. If the show was holding its GW-lead in in both viewers and demo it would be one thing. I'd say its fine and will return, but its not. Its dropping them and usually against lesser competition. I'm glad you enjoy the show but you need to realize that not everyone does and when a show performs badly, people have the right to analyze and be critical.

Just like I said, link was given as credit for the numbers, not to egg people on to come here. If another member did so after a link was posted, that's their business. But it's obvious links are given out of fairness and a sense of ethics you obviously don't understand.
