-Saturday’s Winners: NFL Playoff: Arizona vs. Carolina (Fox)
-Ratings Breakdown: Fox was alive and considerably well on Saturday, with Arizona vs. Carolina on the NFL Playoff at an estimated 21.10 million viewers and an 8.0 rating/22 share among adults 18-49 in prime-time. Comparably, that beat the three competing networks combined. Keep in mind, of course, that results for any live sporting event are always approximate. As I always say, viewers will respond to the networks on Saturday if there is something worth watching.
In the very distant No. 2 spot in every half hour was CBS with its combination of two episodes of Game Show in My Head (Viewers: avg. 6.33 million; A18-49: avg. 2.2/ 6 from 8-9 p.m.), which perked up from last Saturday’s abysmal debut, a repeat of Criminal Minds (Viewers: 6.63 million; A18-49: 1.6/ 4) and 48 Hours Mystery (Viewers: 7.05 million; A18-49: 1.8/ 5). Like Howie Do It on NBC one night earlier, there were some solid laughs to be found in the mindless Game Show in My Head.
NBC’s soon-to-conclude Crusoe was a bust at 8 p.m., with just 2.82 million viewers (#4) and a 0.6/ 2 among adults 18-49 (#4). That led into repeats of Law & Order (Viewers: #4, 3.36 million; A18-49: #4, 0.8/ 2) and Law & Order: SVU (Viewers: #3, 6.19 million; A18-49: #3, 1.5/ 4) from 9-11 p.m.
ABC capped off Saturday with repeats of The Bachelor (Viewers: #3, 3.26 million; A18-49: #3, 2.3/ 4 from 8-10 p.m.) and True Beauty (Viewers: #4, 3.62 million; A18-49: #4, 1.4/ 4). Both shows, of course, will be back in originals on Monday.

Nice demos (for a Saturday evening) from both 'Game Show in My Head' and 'The Bachelor'. And I have a feeling that MyNetworkTV's THE COMMITMENTS on 'My Saturday Night Movie' got a healthy rating too, though we won't know until Monday.
NBC deserves praise for sticking with 'Crusoe' and airing out all the remaining episodes. Perhaps it is the sponsorship of Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet Popping Corn, who have taken on a very visible presence sponsoring the series. Maybe they, as sponsors, will help to find another broadcast network home (ION, CW, MNT) for the upcoming season two.

I think the numbers went up this week thanks to the football game that ended before 7:30. However, if the numbers can stay above a 2.0 demo, I'm sure CBS will keep it as a Saturday option next year. Marc, do you have the numbers for each episode?

The demo for The Bachelor seems high. By any chance is it a misprint and supposed to be 1.3/4?

The Bachelor demo must be an error. maybe it is '1.3' rather than '2.3'? No way did it beat everything on CBS and NBC while only pulling 3.26million viewers.

Wasnt the game a huge blowout? I'm surprised that many people watched it.

Like I said, Gameshow in My head was up a lot from its premiere. 6 million and a 2 in the demo will definitely make CBS happy for now. I think the next thing for them to do is to get Million Dollar Password Saturdays at 9pm, and make it an all original night for them.
CBS' lineup was aided a bit by having football as a lead in, but for both weeks GSIMH has been more younger skewing than the typical CBS show. There's real potential for this show Saturday at 8 PM.

I wonder if the Giants Philly game can double up those ratings?

That would be a great idea. I wish the networks would start programming again.
8:00 p.m. V: 7.09 million (#2), A18-49: 2.5/ 7 (#1) 8:30 p.m. V: 5.57 million (#2), A18-49: 1.9/ 5 (#2)

The Fall is normal for a show that comes after a big special. But even with the fall the ratings are still really good for a saterday.
