IMO, one of the best casting decisions of the season. He's one of the funniest actors alive, and he'll be perfect in the role. If there's an award for best guest cast, Modern Family would win hands down.
Meanwhile, why is ABC Family sticking with Greek AGAIN? It's their lowest rated show - they need to just let it go already.

For Greek, maybe syndication? Are they close to it?

Greek is just finishing the last half of its third season. At the end of this season it should have 64 episodes, so probably enough for syndication.

Sorry but I also have to disagree with the pairing of Lost and V. I don't think it's a good idea based on their previous history. ABC tried a sci fi night with Lost and Life On Mars. The idea was that two male skewing sci fi like shows would work well together. Unfortunately, the flow never happened and I don't think ABC would like to try that again. I think that V and Lost need to be on two seperate nights.
The best idea in my opinion is Lost Wednesdays at 10 PM. It fills up a spot that is weak and will be a good end cap to the night. It also could bring some attention back to the comedies before it. With V, I would move it to Tuesdays at 9 PM once Idol cuts down to an hour in March (around top 10 when it goes to one hour). I would have Dancing with the Stars Tuesdays at 8 PM (I don't think there will be much of a cross between the two audiences) and Happy Town would replace The Forgotten at 10 PM. Before The Olympics I'd run Wife Swap or True Beauty or comedy repeats/Better Off Ted/Scrubs and The Forgotten. I think relaunching the night in March makes more sense since there is a break for The Olympics and it ends up being only about four weeks of programming.

Life on Mars was not sci-fi. It started out kind of like that, but it quickly faded into a bad procedural with a time-warped setting. It didn't work with Lost because it wasn't a very good show.
V could work very well. IMO, for March, it should be DWTS/Lost/V on Tuesdays. They need a strong night, and this could be it. For January, I'd do Scrubs/Better Off Ted/Lost/The Forgotten on Tuesdays.
Meanwhile, I'd like to see Happy Town get the Sundays at 10pm slot. While B&S is still getting respectable ratings, they need to switch it up a bit. Maybe for March, they could do Happy Town Sundays at 10pm, with B&S going to Wednesdays at 10pm. That's probably too drastic of a change, though, and one I really couldn't see ABC making. Castle will probably stay on Mondays at 10pm all season, while Ugly Betty will move into Wednesdays at 10pm.

If it gets like 800,000 an episode now, I'd be scared to see what it does in syndication, lol. I guess it is just to finish up this season.

I agree about Castle Mondays at 10 PM. In my opinion, Ugly Betty isn't a 10 PM show as its audience isn't likely to watch TV at 10 PM. If it were to move, I can't imagine it moving any later than 9 PM. Wednesdays at 8 PM is open and I could see them potentially placing Ugly Betty there and giving The Middle and the comedy that will replace Hank a breather until after The Olympics.

Ugly Betty is not a 10pm show. But, if this is surely it's last season, then I'm sure ABC would have no problem moving it to Wednesdays at 10pm. And, it would make a good fit.
Now that I think about it, though, The Middle may be taking a break come January. In fact, it'll be airing a new episode on December 2nd, while both Modern Family and Cougar Town will be in repeats. Ugly Betty could slide into Wednesdays at 8pm until March to finish up its season, with The Middle returning with Romantically Challenged in March. Makes a lot of sense, actually.
Super fun guest star lightning round go! Fred Willard? Modern Family! Tim Gunn? How I Met Your Mother! Daniel Radcliffe? The Simpsons! Brooke Shields? The Middle!
