Well according to this forum, it wasn't the lowest of the season at least not in total viewers but yes in demo it is down 0.1 from last week:
You guys must be delusional. According to TV-aholic, Criminal Minds is doing better than ever. Ditto for CSI:NY.
I'm sorry that CM or CSINY are still doing better than most of ABC's crapy shows. That's life, what can we do?
Who's comparing Criminal Minds with ABC?
Exactly. I'm sure ABC will be quite happy next fall when Private Practice routinely beats CM in the demo with 2 to 3 million less viewers.
In ABC's and your's dreams maybe. Probably a tie in demos and 4-5 million less viewers. But even in your optimistic scenario who cares? ABC has plenty shows that will pull horrible numbers while CBS has none (i exclude new shows)

Nope I'm not delusional unless this forum is wrong and so the FutonCritic site too
As for CSI:NY it should be doing better it doesn't have to face AI and last night competition was fairly thin...BL had a 7.68M and 2.6 in the demo and L&O had 8.35M and 2.7, CSI:NY had 11.63M and a 3.1 in the demo, I would have expected CSI:NY to do better than CM in the total viewers and to do 0.1 better than CM isn't enough to write home about
Why does NBC feel the need to repeat American Gladiators tomorrow? It didn't even score 5 million on an original. And what's with these Office repeats?! Someone needs to get fired at NBC, now.

About SN's season finale...it was a good episode, but in my eyes, it was not as strong of a season finale as I thought it would be.
I just think something was missing from it. In a way, it kind of reminds me of the movie Vacancy. The build up and suspense in it was wonderful, but the very end left something to be desired. Like this season finale, the build up was nice, but the ending for me fell flat.
Looking back on the other season finales, the first one was excellent; did not see that ending coming at all. Last years, the storylines were tied together, which wrapped everything or most of everything up. Tonight's....for me, it was lacking the surprise and shock value at the end of it. So, that is why I mentioned, when they showed Dean on hell or purgatory, not a surprise at all. So therefore, in my eyes, it was not as great as I would have hoped for. Not bad, but not the shocking and suspenseful ending Season One had.
Peace!!si

Well if PP is to do better than CM in the rating it better pray that all those viewers it lost come back next season...
Just like the viewers who watched Criminal Minds after the most watched Superbowl
Well if you want to use the superbowl then lets see about this year exemple, House, their numbers after the superbowl:
House 32.78 million viewers and a 14.4/34 (http://pifeedback.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/63310451/m/833109001)
and in the last three weeks:
04/28/08 14.64 M 5.8 05/05/08 13.48 M 5.1 05/12/08 15.02 M 5.9
So where went the 17.76M viewers? Does any shows that gets the slot after the superbowl ever get to keep that audience? I don't think so but hey I could be wrong.
btw if you look at the final numbers for last night episode CM did a 3.1/7 12,876,000 which was better in viewers(okay not a huge increase but still an increase) than last week 12.85 million viewers and a 3.1/8 and did almost the same in the demo.
^ Seriously? Fringe trailer only convinced me to not even bother with this XFiles-Twilight Zone wanabee. Joshua Jackson, really? And the story will suck when it be "revealed", during the second season.
On the other hand, I will probably enjoy the 6-7 episodes of 'Dollhouse' before it is canceled, since Fox bets and sacrifices everything in Fringe's name.
How it will pan out is so obvious if Fox keeps this sked, here's to hope Fringe crashes and burns even faster than Alias, in spite of Fox giving it all the best lead-ins and timeslots possible.

Since when was last year's SB the most watched And actually CM has a better retention of the SB viewers than amny shows that aired there, including House
Fringe's trailer looks really bad. 2 minutes and not a single reason in this trailer to make me want to watch the series. And with all the respect, i'm not saying they're both bad actors but the two leads should play in the 90210 spin-off rather than in Fringe
This is exactly why CBS needs to order more mid-season shows as soon as possible and start promoting them. Their new fall entries aren't locks for success and if their old shows falter, they need backups fast.
I am sure all the nets will be picking up more series for mid-season, but since development is way behind, all they are commiting too are the fall schedule shows.
By August, we'll know about another half dozen + shows for each net.
Since when is a full season, "Being Cancelled right away"?
Only Viva Laughlin was axed quickly this season.
If no one, or not enough people are watching a series, why keep it on the air? Look at how many of us keep complaining about shows like According to Jim, Scrubs & 30 Rock.
