Ah how i missed these veronica mars discussions.Personally i could never stand the show.Guess i'm mildly retarded. That must explain why im amused by a pice of paper that has please turn over written on both sides!
Nothing like a little cheering up after horrible exams.
He emailed Rob Thomas who said there was "nothing definitive". Dude, give it up. It's not even dignified at this point. Wouldn't most showrunners just want to know now so they can figure out their next move? How sad is it for him to be willing to sit around waiting until July for the CW to actually give him an answer?

Ausiello tells us that VM isn't canceled, we all mentally add "yet".

Yeah, I saw this. Bottom line, this is a massive public humiliation for Ostroff, and she just wants it all to go away. And Veronica's braindead admirers just won't let it.
How long before the SOS campaign starts?
Though this time, I doubt they'll raise enough to hire a plane.
Well, meggie, it's because at this point it's the difference between him having a job and not having a job since at this point most of the upper-level writer-producer jobs have been filled (he, or his team, turned down the #2 position on Viva Laughlin). So I don't blame him for taking the "it's not over until it's over" stance. Though, really, it's pretty damn apparent that it's over.

I think we've found the next great CW drama!
Ok your on to something.Create a show about a blonde girl. One week it could concentrate on her and her fascination of lighning as she reckons someone is taking her picture.Next week it would focus on her taking a job at an M&M factory as a proof reader. The promotional shots could feature this blonde girl in a swimming pool with various other blonde girls-thus calling the show frosted flakes.
It'd be a hit for them.It would at least garnish around 2.5 mill viewers. It could be used to replace VM in the fall
The cw needs a hit. However we are more likely to see a UFO before we see the CW make it big.

I checked last weeks.... 5/8/07 "Law & Order: SVU (Viewers: 10.90 million; A18-49: 3.7/10)"
pretty good bump
And airing, in my view, a less than stellar ep with neither Benson nor Stabler showing their usual fire and the story proving how hard it is to stay both fresh and credible with these crime shows. CBS usually airs a crime rerun in that hour and didn't last night, that might have helped.
Does this show have another gear left in it next year? I hope it does, I sense it may not.

In the sense that it would appeal to the same people? I think they need more than that, Travis.
No, I meant have a show where somebody just turns a piece of paper over, again and again, for an hour.
Couldn't be any duller than VM. Of course, the diehard Veronica-ites would insist VM was cheaper to produce...
The fascination with Veronica Mars by people who don't even watch is hilarious. Thanks for the laughs.
Pretty surprised at how low AI has dropped over the past few weeks. Actually, pretty surprised that all shows have dipped so much during the sweeps period.
Gilmore Girls finale was actually pretty good ratings wise compared to last season:
Households - 3.6/6 to 3.0/5 Viewers - 5.33M to 4.75M Adults 18-49 - 2.4/6 to 2.2/6
