Yes that would be a perfect fit.
If it gets 4 million at ABC it would be lucky to pull 1 million at CW. Perfect fit. Yea.
The 18-49 numbers for SCC since the 2nd ep is 4.3, 3.6, 3.5, 3.5, 3.2. The total viewer no's: 10.08, 8.66, 8.82, 8.3, 8.1. Trending is not good.
Particularly when you consider how heavily FOX promoted SCC's premiere--then spent so much time promoting it during The Superbowl--just slowed down the decline a little, is all. And again, it hasn't been up against the toughest competition, to say the least.
like someone specified, you should say some people.
How about "more and more people with every passing week"?
Doesn't make it any better, does it?
And what you don't want to deal with is that a lot of the people still watching it are tired of it. People don't decide to stop watching a show they've been following all at once--it's a habit they have to break, and it's usually broken gradually.

A dropping tide lowers all boats. Remember, though, that PCD did better last season with its post ANTM airing than it did with its first run episodes. Fans are most accustomed to watching after ANTM and will likely do so again.

And FOX has only one scripted show that averages over 10 million
Why bring up DVR numbers? Every show will go up some, but the networks don't care at all about those added viewers since advertisers don't pay for them. Meanwhile, Aren't you the same person a few months ago that was saying any show with under 10 million viewers should be cancelled? Prison Break may be a show you enjoy, but it certainly isn't performing like a show that 'deserves renewal'.

I think Old Christine is on her death bed. Last night's episode was particularly lacking in funny/interesting.
I loved PB last night. The writers can still save this show. I wouldn't mind watching Michael go after the company next year, and I think they did a good job of leaving a lot of possibilities for a great story line next season. I still want them to bring Sara back though!

WHAT? When i said every show under 10 million should be canceled? Maybe i've said it for CBS which has plenty of 10 million+ shows
If i would've said it that would mean FOX and CW should be gone by now
PB certinly is performing like a show deserving renwal with or withot DVR numbers

Or in SCC's case, not so gradually.
I have to completely disagree. If you take the numbers for every PB episode this season you would see that actually it went up from the fisrt episodes. So "more and more people watched it week after week". Yesterday was a holiday, that's why it went down slightly

Only this was the season finale, and you wouldn't accept that "it was a holiday" excuse from a PD fan, now would you? Honestly--President's Day? You're going to blame President's Day? That's almost--unpatriotic.
TBH, I haven't paid much attention to PB--ever. I find both the show and its ratings uninteresting. But it's a simple fact that its ratings have been poor, and that its audience is declining. Slight week-to-week rises mean little compared to large season-to-season drops.
It's much easier to see the way things really are if you don't care what happens either way.

It would be great to see a comedy in the range of 20 million again. I hope you are right
