Two and a Half Men (Viewers: #1, 12.35 million; A18-49: #1, 4.0/10), The New Adventures of Old Christine (Viewers: #3, 9.38 million; A18-49: #2, 3.3/ 8),

Old Christine is still only holding about 76% of 2.5 Men's lead in. Not much, if any, better than the REPEATS of Rules... had been doing recently.

That seems like more of a Freudian slip than a typo to me.

When you say people are tired of PB you maybe should say "some people". Beacause it's decline from last year is not very big. I'm certinly not tired of it and so are another 9 million individuals

I'm sure SCC will be up again next week due to a superior lead in. But just a few viewers less and they would have fallen into the 7 millions.

It will anyway, regardless of lead-in. Matter of time. And if the lead-in is stronger next week, that raises the possibility that SCC will fail to improve on it--or, quite possibly, lose a fair bit of it.

And it's the improvement on the lead-in that has been pretty much the sole positive for SCC so far.

Like those 11 million plus who weren't tired of Close To Home yet?

Good point. Should be interesting to see.

I don't get this sentiment that PRISON BREAK will not be back next season.

It's held steady the entire season despite disapearing from the schedule for a long time.

FOX can depend on it bringing in a stable number of viewers and will know that its smart to keep it around when its new season will be front loaded with bombs like K-VILLE was this year.

The smart thing would be for FOX to have TERMINATOR fillt the gap between the fall finale of PB next year and when it returns in the spring.

It's a different network, so there are different expectations. Even with 11 million viewers, Close to Home was one of the lowest rated shows on CBS, and it was the lowest rated scripted show in the demo. Fox, on the other hand, would love to have a scripted show that pulls 11 million viewers.

I'm not saying that PB is doing great or that it should be renewed (I think the premise is played out and they should just end it), but the comparison doesn't work. Even with averaging in the 7 millions, PB is not the worst rated show on Fox.

Under the "losers" list, October Road is listed as a CW show, which I think would be awesome for the CW. It would fit better over there.

The 18-49 numbers for SCC since the 2nd ep is 4.3, 3.6, 3.5, 3.5, 3.2. The total viewer no's: 10.08, 8.66, 8.82, 8.3, 8.1. Trending is not good.

like someone specified, you should say some people.
Ratings remained stable for the whole season and its pretty solid. And there is no "may be", prison break will be back.

Well almost everyone agrees that even canceling C2H was a mistake. And PB is averaging 7.6 million on same day results and close to 9 million if you add the DVR result

And FOX has only one scripted show that averages over 10 million

PRISON BREAK - no basis for cancellation.

Is it losing steam creatively? If so, it can join the crowd.

MEDIUM - as a fan, a bit disappointed. Was expecting more like 9mm, 3.1 this first week back.

Last time I checked, I was a person and I still enjoy Prison Break. I think that it needs to get a title change and continue with some of the characters next season. It's still a good cast, but the storyline needs to change away from Prison escapes and into a more Mission Impossible type of storyline.

Yeah, they could simply retitle it PRISON BREAK: FREEDOM and follow the adventures of Michael & Lincoln (and hopefully Sofia...god that woman is genetically perfect!)

ITA I would love to see this happen and have OR paired with OTH next season. In fact I am campaigning for the CW to pick it up if ABC does not (which ABC probably won't).
