I enjoyed October Road last evening. A good episode but I think ABC has programmed too many dramas in this timeperiod and even their marketing/publicity department doesn't know what is airing.
In Minneapolis, I heard about 6 radio ads promoting the new episode of Greys followed by a Men in Trees, which we all know didn't & wasn't going to air.
20 mil seems low for Grey's which had a decent episode last night. Where are the viewers going? Both CSI & Greys are down. . .
I am really surprised that Grey's is losing its punch...dropping under 20 million. Even back in February, part 3 of that Ferry Disaster (and the awful Mere"death" storyline) racked up over 27 million!
Now this is the show I hope loses its novelty fast!
I don't follow what you are saying...wasn't CSI a repeat last week?

Would you mind terribly giving half-hour break-downs for the two?
Why do I think that ABC has already secretly green-lighted the Grey's spinoff "Private Practice" and will only cancel it if next week's setup-episode is a disaster among critics?

Yeah, it was. So the fact that it has sliughtly higher audience numbers than GA is a much bigger burn on The Anatomy - I just think that given how strong and really entertaining this season has been, I expected more.
You know, I would also expect CBS to be concerned, but it's likely that they're monitoring their free downloads and the chances that those are high enough to keep them at ease might be good.
Given how much online traffic there is for new shows right now, not getting in a panic over live numbers might be why we don't see CBS advertising CSI like crazy (the way ABC is doing with Grey's).
I really don't 30 Rock will find its way. The retention out of The Office says it all. Maybe NBC wants to respect Tina Fey for sticking with the network...who knows.
People really need to stop with the not watching Supernatural all the way through stuff. They miss the best parts! I still think the fact that it almost always ends at 9:55, 9:56 has something to do with the drop off.

This has definitely been a weird season that started with a bang and looks to be ending with a huge wimper for all network shows in terms of their ratings downward spirals

When was the last Grey's/CSI head-to-head? The last couple of weeks it seemed like they flip-flopped new vs repeat/clip show. Still... two more of TV's biggest taking a fall in the ratings as the season winds down... and that was night one of sweeps!
