If you don't consider the timeslot / lead-in differences, that stat makes it look like a close race.

It IS a close race.

Cavemen still has a solid shot at getting canceled first. But VL is coming up fast. This could be a photo finish, ladies and gentlemen! Big Grin

I'm sure that those tuned in on Thursday and stayed to the end will tell all their friends to watch this Sunday. The show is going to do just wonderfully in its new slot. Viva Laughlin will have a solid and devoted following.

TAR was relatively solid for Sunday. They also have Jericho and Swingtown waiting in the wings. We'll see, I guess.

Unless by some miracle, VL thrives on Sunday.

I wonder if it'll bring down Cold Case and Shark, though.

Me too

Has any 1 hour show ever had a 50% retention loss at the half hour?

Good question.

I don't know if "Bay City Blues" did, but I bet it came the closest. That show was notorious for cavernous drops at the half hour, as well as one of the steepest week-to-week slides in television history. (Maybe the XFL beat it in the latter category.)

"Better Off Ted," Wednesdays at some time or another at some point or another in the near future. Because we can't all live in mansions and not ever work like the people on "Modern Family."
