I am also looking forward to this. Cause you know, finishing fourth in its timeslot...nope, not in trouble at all.
The best laugh I had all night last night (other than the NBC comedies) was walking into my grandmother's room, seeing her watching Viva Laughlin, and turning to me and asking what the hell was this? I told her it was a new mystery-drama with musical numbers, and she said (keep in mind- 88 years old with really no television experience beyond wheel of fortune and jeopardy): "sounds like a good idea if only these people and whoever wrote it could make it work".
What a wonderful premiere episode of Viva Laughlin! I cannot wait for this Sunday's episode. Yes, I just got a confirmation call from Les that they will indeed be airing it this Sunday. Yeah!!! I can't wait!

I would think that it is pretty clear that Big Shots is closer to cancellation than Dirty Sexy Money. Did the baseball game cut into the 10pm shows on the big3?
Note for ER: 2 weeks in a row the competition has had big half hour drops on both ABC and CBS. ER viewers at least enjoy their show enough to stay up for the whole thing.
Note for NBC: I only watched half (or less)of Earl last night. If the show is going to be that bad, viewers will not stick around for the whole thing...which is a big problem considering how weak the followup show is already.

As mentioned in this forum earlier, I wonder if CBS would consider a comedy block Sundays at 8. Christine is waiting on the bench and there does not seem to be a clear spot on Monday's for it, unless they finally give up on HIMYM. Not sure what they could pair it with though...

The only other comedy show CBS has in development is 'The Captain', but it doesn't look like a show that will even last for the half season that it is scheduled to run. So, if CBS were to go for a comedy block on Sunday at 8pm, it would likely be double episodes of Christine or at least one 'encore' of one of the Monday comedies. Either of those choices seems less viable than bringing back TAR in that timeslot.
