This is out of pure curiosity and in no way am I trying to say you're wrong or to put you down.
hey Laker, lets see if I can wrap this up in 10 minutes before I sign off for the day: Having Nathan depressed for the first part of the season about am I a hero or not? (hello your wife gets hit by a car later in the year and you are over it in five minutes, and that was YOUR fault) Rachel going after nathan while Haley not being able to tell nathan she's pregant, main character having a baby but not a main storyline, couple NEVER talked about this the whole show (ok maybe a total of 10 minutes through the season) The gambling storyline - ugg just don't want to get into that. Stalker - started out great, just got silly. Clean teens - YAWN There were a handful of good episodes, the last one of the season was one of the best, and the hospital scenes were wonderful. Now they Dan/Keith/Karen stuff was great. Just for me it was way to over the top and silly for me. Too much bad, not enough good. ok, as a fan I hope you understand my brief explanation of the plots, I'm sure the other readers are looking at this wondering what the hell I'm talking about and thinking why must she post this crap on the main board. ok sorry for the OTH specific post guys. Time to go home, chat with you all in a few hours. btw. Today's my b-day! The big 2-8!!

If VL does well, perhaps WAT will be shipped back to Sundays. quote: Originally posted by TV-aholic: Minimum of a 40% drop in the first half hour for VL. quote: Originally posted by tvfan300: quote: Originally posted by spotupj: quote: Originally posted by TV-aholic: CSI:NY may even beat WAT this week, desipt the bigger lead in for WAT.
No WAT this week, but I'd say CSI:NY has a decent shot at beating the show that is airing in WAT's timeslot this week.
I do think VL will get a nice initial sampling, of course there will probably be a substantial half-four drop.

All the season was a mess quite frankly. They had only one interesting storyline (the stalker) but they blew that also. As for VL i cannot wait to see the drop during the hour. Will it be really huge? Anyway i expect 16 million for the premiere, 10 million for the 2nd episode and 7 for the 3rd

While still watching and enjoying the numbers are depressing... but CW put these DVR #s out for the 9/26 episode.... “Gossip Girl” added 30% more women 18-34 (2.77rtg v. 2.13rtg), 25% more adults 18-34 (1.80rtg v. 1.44rtg) in Live+7 DVR viewing compared to those who only watched live.

That's just Nathan though, you can point out other stuff in other seasons that are equally as annoying that he does. I like the Psycho Derek arc but the episode where he attacks Peyton and Brooke was over the top but still enjoyable. Mouth irritated me in season four with his relationship issues. It got old real quick. But I was really happy to see Lucas get over Brooke and FINALLY get with Peyton. They were meant for each other and it finally happened, after four seasons. I think they did a good job with how Lucas found out about Dan killing Keith. They could have done better, but they certainly could have done worse. The Chase and Brooke relationship felt forced about I got over that quick. It was good to see Lucas had written a book and in season five (highlight to read) has his book published. Overall I enjoyed it more than any other season. Season one was good but it had its issues. Not really in the mood to go over it now. Felix and Anna ruined season two for me. Season three was good, not much to complain about. Season four was darker and like I mentioned, Peyton and Lucas finally got together so it made it my favorite season. And BTW, happy birthday!

from abc: Wednesday Night (8:00-11:00 p.m.) ABC led its fourth straight Wednesday night among young adults, beating out its closest competition by 6% in Adults 18-49 (3.7/10 vs. 3.5/9 - CBS) and by 42% in Adults 18-34 (3.4/10 vs. 2.4/7 - 3-way tie between CBS, NBC and Fox).
"Pushing Daisies" (8:00-9:00 p.m.) For the third straight week (on each of its telecasts), ABC's "Pushing Daisies" won its 8 o'clock time period across each of the adult demographics: Adults 18-34 (3.2/10), Adults 18-49 (3.6/10) and Adults 25-54 (4.0/10). In the key Adult 18-49 sales demo, "Daisies" dominated its nearest competition in the hour by 16% (NBC = 3.1/9). For the second straight week, "Daisies" stood as No. 2 TV show on Wednesday among Adults 18-34, behind only ABC's "Private Practice."
* Winning its time period for the first time in Men 18-34, "Pushing Daisies" jumped 21% over the prior week among hard-to-reach young men (2.3/8 vs. 1.9/7). The new ABC series also delivered the No. 1 position in the hour with Men 18-49 (2.6/8).

Why would anyone want to wait for something like this for any show is beyond my comprehension. Although I can understand one waiting to enjoy your disappointment when your wishes don't come to fruition for Viva Laughlin. quote: Originally posted by robert: As for VL i cannot wait to see the drop during the hour. I don't know but I'm surprised NBC hasn't tried to include those numbers into their rating reporting. quote: Originally posted by phrelin: What's the implications of NBC-Universal running Bionic Woman on SciFi and Life on USA?

Hi All,
I am a new poster, but I have old thoughts on the reason for Wednesdays failure.
Kitchen Nightmares came at time where people are growing fatigued by the prospect of reality shows. Whether good or bad, the world has an excess of "reality" on and off network television.
As for the Bionic woman, it's a remake. I may or may not be talking out of my arse with this but name a popular dramatic show remake? You may search long and hard and come up with 2 or 3 but it's just not the norm.
Gossip Girl. Egads. The question is when will it get the kiss of death? CW has been tanking in the ratings since the merger of UPN and the WB. Since the merging of the networks, Veronica Mars has been canceled. I think Gilmore Girls, which I think retained viewership, is off the air. Reba has sung its' swan song. Everybody Hates Chris and Girlfriends have done their worse numbers, like, ever. ANTM seems to be the only show actually doing well. Who is turning to CW for content? And who cares about teenagers anymore? They're creating their own content ONLINE.
Wednesday nights are boring.
