Canda's network has already shelved Big Shots for poor ratings.
. According to this article the ratings were pretty good; CTV RatingsIt's doing better than DSM in both viewers and demos, only lagging behind PD by 4,000 viewers and second only to PP in the demos out of all the new shows. Maybe it wasn't pulled for ratings but to give "Notes" a chance to get up and running and then will reappear in either the exsisting time-slot or another one.
I wonder if Canadians enjoy these programs set in America. I wonder if Americans would easily enjoy these series if they took place in Toronto or Montral.

My guess: 9:30pm CSI 20.5million 10:00pm VL 14.4million 10:30pm VL 11.5million The best news is that it will give the CBS viewers a chance to rediscover ER over on NBC.
That does sound about right. Withholding judgment on VL til I see it, but I do love that Elvis line.

Pushing Daisies was amazing last night, it was much better than last week, the writing was excellent last night, full of metaphors and insightful jokes, it was the best show that I watched on wednesday(much better from criminal minds and private practice), I love abc for taking the risk of making a show so strange and original, and Its nice to see that most people on this board are loving this show, and I consider the ratings that the show got this week were very good, especially considering the ratings of other new shows this year
People who are bothered by pisher should just ignore him, he is just a self loathing, cranky insecure person who gets his kicks out of being an a** on the net, and instead of being angry at him, you should feel sorry for him, and just leave him alone

I just read that the CW cancelled Online Nation? Can anyone confirm this? If so, why just the one show, why not both this way they can have a full hour to re-tool sunday night?

Glad to see the ratings drop was stemmed (4% week-over-week isn't a drop, it's a margin of error, before pisher jumps all over that one, the troll that he is).
Why are people so worried about DSM? It's doing quite fine in that timeslot, in fact, better than The Nine last season, which had a much bigger lead-in. Before people start panicking about what ABC's going to ditch, remember that 1) There's quite possibly a writer's strike coming up, and 2) It's going to have a few holes to fill once DWTS goes on hiatus. Given that, I think that DSM is safe for a full season.
All good points. I thought ABC's Wednesday night strategy was the biggest gamble this season. I was not convinced that Private Practice was going to be the out-of-the-box no-brainer hit of the year. The fact that ABC is now WINNING the night in 18-49 with ALL NEW shows, has got to be somewhat of a relief to the network. Sure it is early... sure Hurricane AI will be rearing its ugly head in a few months... but for the moment I truly don't see ABC changing anything on this night. This had the potential to be a disastrous night for ABC. I think they're pretty pleased with what they see so far. I see PD and PP lasting the entire season - even with slippage. I see DSM lasting longer than The Nine (at the very least...) With the potential for a full season pickup if it maintains at current levels.

You must have a crush on Pisher too. I doubt he's as hot as Michael Vartan. quote: Originally posted by lakers247: quote: Originally posted by Devilz_0: People who are bothered by pisher should just ignore him, he is just a self loathing, cranky insecure person who gets his kicks out of being an a** on the net, and instead of being angry at him, you should feel sorry for him, and just leave him alone

I think Viva Laughlin goes from 11 million to 5 million in the half hours.

Nah, Pisher cheated on me way too many times for me to have any feelings left. I thought I was the only one, but unfortunately he's the same with everyone else.

That's a little too bold of a prediction. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for boldness. But I doubt it will decrease by more than half of its original viewers.

CW apparently has the whole year's advertising sold out. So despite the low ratings, it will be around the rest of the season. quote: Originally posted by Naleyfanforver: I just read that the CW cancelled Online Nation? Can anyone confirm this?
