If the only requirement for renewal was to do better than Six Degrees, the airwaves would be packed with nothing but mediocre low-rated dramas.
WHAT HAPPENED TO SUPERNATURAL? Last night's episode may have been the series best episode to date. That's just wrong. ARRRRRRGGHHHHH!!! That is really disappointing. Smallville can grab ratings but Supernatural can't. Supernatural is so much better than Smallville. Man, that's depressing. Jared Padalecki gave a tour de force performance last night, too. Unbelievable.
Don't panic, ladies. One episode isn't going to get the series cancelled, and pisher is right. Considering the fact that FOX is seen everywhere, the OC didn't really do much better. Was last week's episode that poorly received? Damn. Ohhhhhhh, I hope everyone watches this episode at the website and realizes what they missed. That's so disappointing. Oh well. At least the other 9 o'clock dramas didn't do any better. Hope those finals don't drop.
Travis Yanan, you know the drill. Finals, please, when you get them. For good or ill.

Well actually, One Tree Hill's final number was 2.73, so Supernatural did better. I have a feeling Supernatural's final number will be a bit higher than fast nationals...at least I hope it is because I can't make any sense of that rating.

I dont know whether they can afford to cancel 30 Rock or not. It depends on how Andy Richter's show does I suppose.
However, why would that decision be tied in any way to Studio 60? Is Scrub's fate tied to ER cause they are both set in hospitals? That line of reasoning always escapes me.

At least Baldwin got to win an award or two...

I am completely baffled by that rating for Supernatural. Wow. Last night's episode had to be one of their best episodes ever.
While YOU saw last night's ep, many others didn't bother to watch it, based upon their opinions of the last ep they DID see. Wouldn't be surprised to see last night's ep do well in rerun once the buzz goes around about how good it was.
I'd hazard a guess to say that some of the audience, knowing The O.C. is at an end are watching it, just to see how it ends...
bUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE BECAUSE THE oc'S NUMBERS WERE DOWN BY ROUGHLY 300,000+ FROM WHAT IT WAS IN PREVIOUS WEEKS AND THE OC AND SUPERNATURAL BOTH SKEW DIFFERENTLY.Didn't mean to write in caplocks.Too lazy to go back and change it.!
Wait a minute. I know where Supernatural's viewers went. Last week, CSI had 20.94. This week, with Grissom coming back, it was 22.23.
Yes, that's where they went. Some people were kind of lukewarm about last week's ep. Darn. Padalecki would have blown them away last night. I can't believe that's the same kid who played Sam last year. His growth as an actor has been incredible.
Survivor's demo strength is a bit of a suprise. I had a notion it might finally dip below the 5 mark. As for the show itself . . . meh . . .nothing speical. Pretty run of the mill I thought.

Yikes for ER's demo numbers. It was well above 6.0 last fall.

OMG, Grey's ratings are bigger and bigger every week! This week numbers almost beated the season premiere numbers! I bet next week this is gonna happen!
Um, a person doesn't know an episode is a 'great' episode unless they're watching it. So I guess I don't understand why people are upset that audience numbers are low for 'great' episodes. I had no way of knowing in advance that SN was going to be 'great' last night.
