At least Baldwin got to win an award or two...
Yes, please cancel them BOTH...the general public is just not interested in "behind the scenes" activities at a sketch show. They just AREN'T. Just because people enjoy SNL and MAD TV doesn't mean they give damn about the people that put them on. Sorry.
I'm not convinced that ABC would cancel MIT...it's still doing much better than Six Degrees did and it does have a loyal fanbase with that number. ER is not ahead by that much.
i would not worry about the cw cancelling supernatural. it pulls in numbers as good as most of their other shows, and it actually has MORE competition than many of those. it is a quality show that is unique to the cw...i dont forsee a cancellation.
grey's was great last night....scrubs has gotten better since the beginning of the season. i love jd....
happy weekend everyone!

MIT sure doesn't rate a full season renewal--honestly, it has THE BEST LEAD-IN ON TELEVISION. And a lead-in ideally suited to delivering the audience MIT is going after, I might mention. Let's not for one minute pretend that Shark and ER are the problem. The problem is MIT.
If the only requirement for renewal was to do better than Six Degrees, the airwaves would be packed with nothing but mediocre low-rated dramas.
Perhaps you should at least take a look at these shows that you would like to be cancelled. (Why do you want them off?) Neither of them has been about "behind the scenes" of a sketch show since the first few eps of either show.

WTH happened with Supernatural? It was one of the best episodes this season. Marc, do you think Supernatural is safe for a season three, even with these low numbers? Thanks.
I thought last night's Survivor was better than recent ones. Survivor will never again be the pop-culture phenomenon of its first 2 or 3 seasons. But, it's still entertaining television that beats its competition. You can't ask for much more.
I really like Shark (I think it's underrated) and think the addition of former NYPD Blue co-star Henry Simmons is a good one. He adds attitude and a possible relationship story as well. I know the 1st reviews were not great but it does a 2nd look now.

Yikes for ER's demo numbers. It was well above 6.0 last fall.
81% isn't great Gee, especially when you have quite a compatible lead in with Scrubs. Face it, even if it's renewed, 30 Rock is very unlikely to catch on, and that is a real shame because it's a very good show.

Unless you think the idea of Valentine's Day is "too inside."
I watch Shark, and I enjoy it, mostly for Jimmy Woods. The biggest problem with Shark is the writing. Some of the dialogue is just painful. The only character who is consistently written well is the lead, and that is a problem -- the other characters need good moments from time to time and they really don't get them. Agreed that the addition of Simmons has really helped the show.
