FOX has two more episodes ordered of it, so they can wait it out two more weeks. I just don't think it will go beyond that. Last week it was at 4.75 mil. Going up 1.25 mil in viewers is very odd and usually just an oddity in the measuring system. Last week it lost viewers in its lead in which was a repeat of Bones, so I don't know if it will continue.
As for Moonlight, in all honesty it should be cancelled. It has a very active online following but it is the weakest on Friday and other horror type shows are being developed by CBS that would fit better. To please those fans, I bet it will get renewed. I just don't know where CBS will put it in the schedule.
Yeah, but Marc is friends with Howie Mandell so he'd never admit that. I'm watching Duel right now and I don't get what's so bad about it. The mix of gambling and knowledge is quite interesting.

I think it will continue..
I think the Ratings wil stay around 6 million the next to weeks and the show will be pick up for a midseason replacement.
I haven't seen any discussion of this, but 1 vs. 100 was nowhere to be found on NBC's elaborate fall/winter/summer schedule for next season. Does anyone know what NBC has against that show? It performs better than anything the network aired last night, and compared to Amnesia it looks like a huge hit. Maybe it's still being considered as a midseason replacement?

Any idea why there was a big drop in ratings last week for this show 9and the viewers are back this week)? Was there some big preemptions last week or something?
Because of NCAA on CBS. Last week's "SmackDown!" HH rating was 2.4/4. Last night was 2.6/5.

Price is Right is doing better than Moonlight. Not great news for Moonlight fans
CBS should give Moonlight a 13 episode order and see how it does in the Fall. If it does well, give it he full season. It's not like there will be no other holes they could plug TPIR into. OTOH, if it fails then they have TPIR in the wings for the winter/spring season.

Moonlight is one of CBS' major successes this year, as its CEO, Les Moonves has acknowledged himself in December. It's doing fine numbers-wise (over 8 mil last time a fresh installment aired) and has a strong fan following. It WILL and SHOULD be renewed. And BTW, CL will not go up against Moonlight, and Moonlight will be back on the 25th, a week after CL finishes its run.
