----------
-Friday’s Winners: Ghost Whisperer (CBS), The Price is Right (CBS), Numb3rs (CBS)
-Ratings Breakdown: It was a clean, albeit non-spectacular, Friday sweep for CBS with its combination of the return of Ghost Whisperer (Viewers: 9.33 million; A18-49: 2.3 rating/8 share), the 9 p.m. debut of The Price is Right (Viewers: 8.55 million; A18-49: 2.2/ 7) and the return of Numb3rs (Viewers: 9.91 million; A18-49: 2.3/ 7). These have to be considered winning performances on this typically low-Hut level Friday.
Second overall was NBC care of canceled Amnesia (Viewers: #4, 4.51 million; A18-49: #3t, 1.3/ 4) and a two-hour edition of Dateline (#2, 6.78 million; A18-49: #2, 1.8/ 6 from 9-11 p.m.).
The return of ABC game show Duel sparked minimal interest, with a last-place finish in both total viewers (3.93 million) and adults 18-49 (1.2/ 4) from 9-10 p.m. Retention out an encore telecast of lead-in America’s Funniest Home Videos (Viewers: #2, 6.02 million; A18-49: #2, 1.5/ 5 at 8 p.m.) was 65 percent in viewers and 80 percent among adults 18-49. CBS’ competing The Price is Right outdelivered Duel, meanwhile, by a whopping 4.62 million viewers and 83 percent in the demo.
ABC capped off Friday with veteran 20/20 third in both total viewers (4.82 million) and adults 18-49 (1.5/ 5) at 10 p.m. Obviously, this was not a good night for ABC.
Fox’s recently introduced (and recently relocated) Canterbury’s Law flexed some muscle from 9-10 p.m., with 6.07 million viewers (#3) and a 1.4/ 4 among adults 18-49 (#3). While that may not sound like much, it did manage to build from an encore telecast of lead-in Bones (Viewers: #3: 4.54 million; A18-49: #5, 1.2/ 4) by 1.53 million viewers and 17 percent among adults 18-49.
The CW had a consistent performance from Friday Night Smackdown!, with 4.56 million viewers and a 1.4/ 5 among adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m. Yes, this franchise will be missed by the CW next season.

Any idea why there was a big drop in ratings last week for this show 9and the viewers are back this week)? Was there some big preemptions last week or something?
Wow, Duel bombed. I thought that it would have gotten higher ratings than that. Are you sure Canterbury Law's numbers are right? That is a weird spike in the middle of the season. Even if it is, it won't save the series. It's demos are still terrible.

OUCH!! Is the show that bad? A victim of reality/game show overkill? A victim of The Price is Right?

Again, not impressive, but not bad. Numb3rs is about where it was in viewers, but down a bit in the demo. Ghost Whisperer was down a bit in both.
I wouldn't get to confident. It still is the lowest demo show on FOX and sure to get canned after its episodes run. At best, it is a temporary spike and when Moonlight comes in next week, it will provide tough competition for Canterbury's.

And all you guys who thought it would fail,
Just look at the numbers.
Thank u for the imput,
But i really think that its a perfect fit on friday.
Given Canterbury's demo, I really don't think Moonlight will have much effect on their numbers. Duel might also benefit if Price is not against it. (It might have been smarter to try it against the horrid Amnesia.)

Price is Right is doing better than Moonlight. Not great news for Moonlight fans
