-Yesterday’s Winners: So You Think You Can Dance (Fox)
-Yesterday’s Losers (Excluding Repeats): NHL Stanley Cups Finals, Game 3 (NBC), Farmer Wants a Wife (CW), Men in Trees (ABC)

-Ratings Breakdown: Fox led the midweek troops care of another two-hour installment of So You Think You Can Dance, which averaged a healthy 9.26 million viewers and a 3.6 rating/10 share among adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m. Take a look at the half-hour breakdown:
So You Think You Can Dance (Fox) 8:00 p.m. Viewers: 7.93 million (#1), A18-49: 2.9/10 (#1) 8:30 p.m. Viewers: 9.15 million (#1), A18-49: 3.4/10 (#1) 9:00 p.m. Viewers: 9.92 million (#1), A18-49: 3.9/11 (#1) 9:30 p.m.: Viewers: 10.06 million (#2), A18-49: 4.0/10 (#1)
Comparably, this was right on par with the year-ago (also expanded) telecast.
Second overall in total viewers and third among adults 18-49 was CBS with its repeat combination of The Price is Right (Viewers: #2, 7.91 million; A18-49: #3t, 1.6/ 5), Criminal Minds (Viewers: #2, 9.71 million; A18-49: #3, 2.2/ 6) and CSI: NY (Viewers: #1, 9.44 million; A18-49: #1, 2.4/ 7). ABC finished just the opposite -- third in total viewers and second among adults 18-49 -- with its all original line-up of Wife Swap (Viewers: #3, 5.78 million; A18-49: #2, 2.2/ 7), Supernanny (Viewers: #3, 6.64 million; A18-49: #2, 2.6/ 7) and Men in Trees (Viewers: #2, 5.31 million; A18-49: #3, 1.6/ 5), which has returned to burn-off its final telecasts. Isn’t it sad how ABC mishandled the quirky Men in Trees?
NBC was barely on the map with game three of the NHL Stanley Cups Finals at an estimated (and fourth place) 4.46 million viewers and a 1.9/ 5 among adults 18-49 from 8-11 p.m. And two episodes (repeat and original) of the CW”s inane Farmer Wants a Wife averaged 2.45 million viewers and a 0.9/ 3 in the demo from 8-10 p.m.
Marc, do you have the numbers for last season's Stanley Cup Game 3 on NBC? I know 4.46 million is a low number for any prime-time network program, but I've got to think it's up fairly significantly year-to-year, which would be a good sign for the NHL.

Marc could we get half hour break downs for Farmer Wants a Wife? If the original was above 2.5 million viewers, I'm starting to think this show has the chance of a second season. As for the series itself, just terrible.
Never mind. I just found the numbers in the 6/2/07 thread. Last year's Game 3 drew only 1.73 million viewers and a 0.5 among adults 18-49. So while 4.46 million and a 1.9 isn't great, it's a considerable improvement over a year ago. Total viewership more than doubled, and the demo number almost quadrupled. So considering what NBC and the NHL got last year, I'd guess they're pretty happy this year!

Actually, I thought the numbers for the Stanley Cup Finals were higher than anyone expected. The cable ratings were also up from previous years on the first two games.
does anyone know where they list everyday who is on what talk show for the day. I know the nypost does it, but on the print version, usatoday does the print version too but is not complete. Anyone know of a place online?
TVSquad posts the guests for the evening talk shows sometime in the late afternoon.

Ok. I didn't follow hockey ratings in the past. I'm glad the series finally moved off of the non HD Versus. Hockey is HD is great, I can finally follow the puck!
Interesting that Dance Show fever hasn't burnt out yet with all the variations Stars, Dance Wars and now this....
Now as for LOST tonight...anyone think there is potential highest rated episode of the season...supposedly there is some major twist at the very end that should entice viewers.
On a unrelated note was reading on FUTON CRITIC the review for a new comedy DO NOT DISTURB...and it stars JERRY O'CONNELL...will this guy please just forget about comedy and get together with Davis, Llyod and Derrick and give us a SLIDERS movie all of us have been waiting and hoping for?

Actually Versus does have an HD channel. I have DIRECTV and I get it. All the Versus NHL games are available in HD.
Holy mother of mercy...is that a series high in viewers (sans the pilot) for Farmer Wants a Wife? unbelievable....NHL is a joke.....why NBC still broadcasts that incredible boring sport is beyond me.
