It's not because of Baseball It's not because of MINDS and PRIVATE PRACTICE..
It's because of HEROES.
The premise of airing a show about ONE person with superpowers when two nights earlier you can watch one with OVER HALF A DOZEN people with powers...some similar to the BW even...what's the point of going to the well on Wendsdays for just one....
Had BIONIC WOMAN come out a year BEFORE the show HEROES came on it probably would have been the hit HEROES is now.
Bionic woman's ratings suck because it is a bad show. It is not any other show's fault. It is so slow. Nothing happens. It doesn't seem to have any direction.
I don't know if DSM should be labeled a loser. It seems to perform steady in its 4th week, retaining the same percentage of its lead-in. Actually, the percentage is even higher than B&S retains from DH on Sunday nights.
I really hope ABC doesn't tinker with this lineup. I like PD and DSM (don't care as much for PP) and I think both can sustain the entire season if the network doesn't screw it up with bad scheduling, in addition to moving the show before it settles in with the audience.
Many people have suggested moving the show to Thursdays after GREY'S, but I think this would hurt the show because there's stronger competition depite the lead-in. WAT is so compatible with CSI that it retains that lead-in pretty strongly, and ER is unlikely to lose any more in the demos, considering it's been around a long time and the same viewers today have likely been watching the show for the previous 13 years. At least on Wednesdays, it faces the declining LIFE and CSI:NY which was banged a bit by LOST last season, and doesn't rate as highly even now, especially in the demos.
Can anyone tell me if that is the season low for DIRTY SEXY MONEY? It's such a dreadful show I can't believe it beat out other pilots to make it on ABC's schedule?
Pushing Daisies was AWESOME last night, the best episode so far, and the best show last night, and the ratings shows that it can stand on it own against tough competition, it stabilized in total viewers, but did drop in 18-49, but that number will increase once foz gets back to its regular schedule
Pushing Daisies got a full season, thats very good news!!!
You realize the ratings this year are completely different then last year so PD and Studio 60 are pretty much completely different.
Actually, PD is much worse.

The highest rated show last season was averaging around 24 million and this season the highest rated show is averaging around 19 million.
Yes, but again you keep dodging that PD is hugely expensive for ABC. It has to get really great ratings to stay on past this season, and last week its ratings were just a shade above mediocre.
Listen, argue with Marc--he took it off the winner's list. But don't worry--in a few week's time, it'll be on a whole new list.
So for the record, how many people posting on this thread signed up for pifeedback purely so they could rave about how wonderful PD is, and come up with excuses for its week-to-week ratings drops?
Had Sports not been on last night, PD would've been a winner. It would've been Number 1. It's overall viewership might have even been significantly higher.

It's not dreadful (not good either). On differnt reliables TV blogs they say it's going to get a full season. Wait for the annoucment this week
Also airing from 8-9 p.m. was CBS’ lackluster Kid Nation (Viewers: #4, 8.03 million; A18-49: #4, 2.5/ 7),
Kid nation as grown from the previous week, the last 2 weeks. It is also the most viewers sine its premiere. Looks to me that Kid Nation is trending upward an could be a decent, slow building franchise.
