9.75 to 9.45, not quite a half a million... And when the demo increases next week since there will be no game, you can say the game still had nothing to do with it if you're not a fan.
And somehow being a fan makes you MORE objective? How does that work?

I think the one unspoken reason for BIONIC WOMAN's ratings dropping is this...
It's not because of Baseball It's not because of MINDS and PRIVATE PRACTICE..
It's because of HEROES.
The premise of airing a show about ONE person with superpowers when two nights earlier you can watch one with OVER HALF A DOZEN people with powers...some similar to the BW even...what's the point of going to the well on Wendsdays for just one....
Had BIONIC WOMAN come out a year BEFORE the show HEROES came on it probably would have been the hit HEROES is now.
Then let's wait for next week, this week PD lost big numbers. If nextb week bounces back i'll be objective and i'll applaud it
And when it fails to go back to its Week 3 ratings, they'll come up with some other excuse, and shut their eyes, and stick their fingers in their ears, and start humming loudly. Which would be an improvement over their normal conversational skills.
Yeah but most of the feedback about PD has been positive. Sure, it's not for everyone. But people seem to like it. And of course, the same can go for any show, CSI, and others like it. But it hasn't been shown to be true with that. You can skip Lost and not feel like you're missing anything if you don't like it. SO its a poor analogy.

No, it's because the show sucks. People were more than ready to watch this show--they wanted to like it. But they blew the casting, they never really had any solid plan as to where they were going with it, and they've just hired another showrunner.
Week four of ABC’s critically acclaimed Pushing Daisies finished a respectable second behind baseball on Fox, with 9.45 million viewers and a 3.0/ 8 among adults 18-49 at 8 p.m.
Numbers are still dropping, but only at about 5 % per week each of the last couple of weeks
Kid Nation up 600K and 0.1 in the demo against the World Series? This show's gathering some momentum.
Ship Phenomenon to Friday and Deal back to Wednesday, stat. Bionic flat in the demo from last week despite shedding more viewers. Viewer retention for Life is OK, but it took a nasty hit in the demo. Along with the popular choice, Medium, Life may be another candidate for the post-Heroes slot. It's out-performing Journeyman with a much worse lead-in.
Practice and DSM both look fine vs. last week, which means Daisies' drop is almost certainly not entirely tied to baseball. Will be interesting to see what happens next week.

How are those numbers for DSM? I know Life retained better out of Bionic, but Bionic does not have numbers like PP and DSM is doing much better than Life?

I completely agree. Why watch a show about one person with superpowers when you have a show with many person with superpowers? That might not be the single cause (the fact that BW is poorly done is another one) but it's a factor no doubt
