Beside, it just shows that CBS can program to attract viewers of ALL ages. they do not need to be Niche.
I loved 8 Simple Rules. It is such a shame that John Ritter died. It ruined the show, and it went downhill the next two years after him. It could have been a real hit had John Ritter lived.
I think it would have been a massive hit. I remember it started spiking up to 20 million viewers, then it ended due to the cast dying/leaving. What a shame.
8 Simple Rules was such a great show. If John never died, the show could of helped ABC with their comeides a lot.

What has that got to do with the statement, though? It doesn't change the factuality of 'CBS is for old people' at all.
But it is also for "YOUNG people" too. In fact, more "young People" watch CBS than they do NBC or ABC.

Not when ABC is at full strength. The alphabet was quite ahead of CBS this fall and the average age of a CBS viewer is much older than ABC or Fox. NBC they've got. When it comes to 18-49s, CBS is strong 35+ while weak in 18-34s, another demo advertiser's love. Its why the 25-54 crowd is so big for CBS.

So does it have to eat more spinach, wear a magic ring, or put on a lead suit to get back to full strength?
I guess we'll find out this week when they air all new programming. It will be interesting to see if their Wed. and Fri. programming still drag them down to third in the demo or if they will beat CBS like they did this fall.
