Been a fun week doing this in Marc's stead. He should be back tomorrow (or at least I hope he will because, some odd synchronicity here, I'm not at work tomorrow!)
Overall ABC: 4.7/7 HH, 3.2/8 A18-49, 7.608 million viewers CBS: 8.1/13 HH, 3.6/9 A18-49, 12.532 million viewers NBC: 5.0/8 HH, 2.3/6 A18-49, 7.387 million viewers FOX: 16.5/25 HH, 11.3/28 A18-49, 28.067 million viewers CW: 3.6/6 HH, 2.5/6 A18-49, 5.364 million viewers
ABC: 8:00 p.m. George Lopez - 3.9/6 HH, 2.2/6 A18-49, 6.132 million viewers 8:30 p.m. The Knights of Prosperity - 2.9/4 HH, 1.7/4 A18-49, 4.236 million viewers 9:00 p.m. According to Jim - 3.3/5 HH, 2.2/5 A18-49, 5.106 million viewers 9:30 p.m. In Case of Emergency - 3.1/5 HH, 2.0/5 A18-49, 4.624 million viewers 10:00 p.m. Lost - 7.6/13 HH, 5.7/15 A18-49, 12.774 million viewers

CW: 8:00 p.m. America’s Next Top Model (two-hour season premiere) - 3.5/5 HH, 2.5/6 A18-49, 5.364 million viewers
Looks like Lost is settling into the 10pm hour with the upper 12-million viewers, mid-7s in households, and 5.7 in the ad sales demo. As for last night... while Hurley's flashback wasn't THAT interesting, it was great to see our Lostaways back together on the beach (except of Jack, obviously). A nice episode full of levity... makes me worry about dark things to come!
Half hour breakdowns for Idol and Top Model to follow.
Glad to see even with a crappy episode last week, Lost has finally stabilized. As for this week's episode, I loved it (and I am SOOOO happy Rousseau is back)! (And now we know the longitude of the island thank's to Sawyer's map)

i think are you smarter than a 5th grade will hold up well. Only house shows that much retention out of AI
Is it really a fair comparison though? 5thGrader started halfway through the 9pm timeslot. Everything else on TV was mostly over. The true test will be today when it is in 1h format and the even truer test will be A) when it doesn't have AI as a leadin and B) when it isn't versing repeats (as it is tonight)

ABC is really hurting if they feel a need to waste away airing the last episodes of these two.

I was hoping for more. Looks like Smackdown may take over as CW's #1 show, for now.
I can't believe that they only got through like 5 questions again last night, that is the most drawn out gameshow of all time, even Millionaire seemed fast compared to this. Maybe its the 30 minute 'special' runtime but it just drags on and on.
As for Lost, the episode was actually really good, getting "back on the horse" bringing almost everyone back together and seeing the interactions of the larger cast again is a good way to go. Plus all the one liners from Sawyer had me laughing out loud.
I'm sure Skeletor would be happy about the shout out...

Gak. This does not bode well for my beloved NBC comedies. Fox could have a legit hit in this horror show. It will certainly clean the clock of Scrubs and 30 Rock tonight. Bah. Oh well, I still love you Liz Lemon.

Top Model is still far and away higher rated among A18-49. Plus, it's against Idol. Smackdown's only competition is the fact that it's on Friday night.
Wednesday's Ratings Winners: American Idol (Fox), America's Next Top Model (CW), Criminal Minds (CBS), Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? (Fox), CSI: NY (CBS)
Still Disappointing After A Long Hiatus: Jericho (CBS), Lost (ABC)
Wednesday's Ratings Losers: George Lopez (ABC), Friday Night Lights (NBC), The Knights of Prosperity (NBC), According to Jim (ABC), In Case of Emergency (ABC), Medium (NBC)
Again, Lost blows the flashback. But the episode as a whole was entertaining enough, if you stop yourself from thinking about what a good episode USED to be. Which apparently an awful lot of people are unable to do.
