Here are the fast affiliate results for Wednesday, July 16 broken out by total viewers and adults 18-49 overall, and by half-hour by network (in the order of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and the CW)
Loox as if "Celebrity Circus" IS a 'circus', but not the kind NBC intended! its drop-off in total viewers & in the coveted demo is quite telling.
BB 10 is at expected summer levels.(I don't watch it at all, of course!) CBS oughtta make it a summer-only show, if they continue it.
I'm surprised that CSI:NY lost total viewers, but gained in the demo. From Marc's figures, it loox as if some young adult viewers switched from "Primetime: Crime" to CSI.
SYTYCD performed as expected. personally, I like it!

BIG BROTHER...is NOT dead.
Hello it placed #2 in the hour and creativly fans are pleased by the return to its early roots-including having the live studio audience which helps the evictee to come out amid cheers instead of the somber silence of past evictions.
I was talking about nominations people care about, Chimera.
No nomination for best comedy (or was it supposed to be drama?).
No nomination for best actress.
No nomination for supporting actors or actresses.
Okay, one nomination for the movie director who did the 'pie-lette', and one for the overrated flop showrunner who wrote it--and who cares about that? Nobody who isn't already watching. And are they saying that the only good ep was the first one? Sure seems like it.
ONE nomination people care about, and the Piemaker is going to get creamed.
You said it would do incredibly well at the Emmys, and it's going to walk away with a few consolation prizes at best.
Now--are you saying the Emmy Awards are meaningful and true?
Because if you are, can I just note that the Emmy voters just stiffed your show?
The only nominations this show deserves are 12 Razzies.
Okay, the tech ones I can understand. It's a great-looking (though empty) show. But Lee Pace? Kristin Chenoweth? Writing in a COMEDY? Get real.
And I can't believe "30 Rock" can snag as many nods as it did and still get shut out of the supporting categories. It has the best supporting cast on television. You want to tell me freakin' Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven are funnier than Jack McBrayer?! They're not even funnier than any of the supporting actors on "The Big Bang Theory." Certainly not Jim Parsons, who deserved a nom more than anyone and wasn't even in the Final 10.
At least Michael C. Hall finally got recognized after last year's snub. I guess that makes up for the plethora of nominations the overgrown fratboy nonsense that is "Entourage" received.
I sort of feel sorry for the cast of "My Name Is Earl." They continue to do great work but none of them have ever been recognized except for Jaime Pressly -- who was ignored along with everybody else this year. It's not their fault they got garbage material to work with this year. (Still better written than "Entourage" and "Pushing Daisies," though.)
-- "Better Off Ted," Wednesdays at some time or another at some point or another in the near future. Because we can't all live in mansions and not ever work like the people on "Modern Family."
BB is pulling well I think. SYTYCD was always going to beat it, and then all the drama with the medical withdrawal last night...
I've been hearing a lot of positive things on BB- the cast is good, and we don't really have a twist yet. The winter edition hurt it, plus it is in it's tenth season, but it still does what it's supposed to do- decent total audiences and good 18-49's. Also, BB always starts out slow, and tends to build later on in the season. Don't dig the shows grave just yet...
(Speaking of reality....HOWIE MANDEL??? How is Deal or No Deal considered a reality show? Phil Keoghan got robbed out of a nom, although it's between Seacrest and Probst most likely...)
When the only award a show gets (as opposed to an actor) is for writing and directing, that means they're not very impressed. Because those nominations don't help a show's ratings--hell, even the biggies don't help some shows.
And they were right to save their ammo--nothing's going to help PD.
And it'd take every statue they've got to save 30 Rock.
The fact that the emmy's continue to overlook the Wire is just awful. Boston Legal best drama nominee over The Wire? shameful
Pushing Daises is nice to look at but other than that...nothing for me
I don't understand how 30 Rock continues to get cred. It's really not that funny and yes Kevin Dillon and especially Jeremy Piven are funnier than Jack McBrayer. IMO
I do love the love for Michael C Hall. I'm very happy for Damages and Mad Men as well. Two great shows that I hope continue to get more exposure in the next year.
Lost did well and it should be given kudos if anything for the episode The Constant which was perhaps the best hour of TV drama ever created.
But again...No Wire? No Friday Night Lights?

Remember when Jethro Tull won the first "Heavy Metal Act" grammy award???
