Really? 6.5 million for a 3rd airing of a show with only 8 episodes is bad (not to mention a halloween episode)?
Obveeus, clearly you are biased. These #s are better than most shows are doing with new episodes...

This certainly isn't an indication of strength from Big Bang Theory. It didn't even hold the 2&1/2Men lead-in. I would have expected better.
To only have 1.5 million juimp ship after 2.5 Men and switch to one of those shows is pretty good.

I think when AI dropped to around 23 million last year, was some of those hour long result shows, or maybe just a 1/2 hour result shows. They don't do as well as when the people are performing.

Does anybody (lostinratings) have the MyNetworkTV numbers for last night.
I'm particularly curious as to how the new magic special miniseries, "Masters of Illusion: Impossible Magic" performed at 9 pm. In a key piece of Sweep stunting, MyNetworkTV has skedded four episodes of "Masters of Illusion" over the next four Wednesdays.
Well, not even Deal or No Deal is invulnerable to the AI Death Star.
Then again, it wasn't one of the "Million Dollar Mission" episodes. Instead it was "Christmas in December" (?) with a woman who kept going beyond all reason, and turned down a $110k offer for what was in her case...
...which turned out to be only $1k. Cue the coronet that plays loser theme Wuh-waaaa

There is no regular programming coming anywhere near a 10.5 demo number. AI is still a monster to anyone, but those of you who are daytime dreamers and wishful thinkers. DWTS can get within 5 million viewers, but will still only be 1/2 in the demo.
Thanks for the numbers, tv-aholic. I'm not denying the fact that AI is down. However, so are most other shows on the nets. And in any case, it is still far and away the biggest show on TV - particularly in the demo.
I did find it interesting that the Tuesday shows don't take as big a hit as the Wednesday shows.... except for yesterday. All of a sudden AI is not down double digits. Kind of odd to have a 10&, or so, turn around in just week and one night.

ABC i think really messed up with Cashmere mafia -- it should be on Sundays since DH is no longer airing originals.
Unfortunately, I hope that more Men in trees fans will be up in arms because this is the same time slot that it will inherit on feb 23rd. Why does ABC treat men in trees so badly? For a serialized show, it's very hard to keep track where abc puts it. It also should go to sundays.

Cashmere Mafia was a bust from the start. It dropped almost 1/3 its DH lead in, and it got worse after that. Being on Sundays wouldn't make a difference.
