A lot of OR fans would be willing to follow OR to a different network, especially the CW.

I would not be surprised if Time Warner getsout of this partnership, with CBS, before next Fall.

They seem to be channeling all their resources towards TNT and TBS (and rightfully so). They can get a higher return for their money on those cable nets than the CW.

I disagree -- the amount of people following a show is directly proportional to the intensity of fandom. Fans don't need to channel surf to figure out where it went -- they can (and would) surf the web and find out that their show moved to the CW. So I'd expect 3.5 - 4 million to make the switch over, if this move were to happen. And like someone else mentioned, the lead character was on OTH on the WB not too long ago, so it may even find new fans there.

I think 90% of OTH fans tried the show on ABC.

Which proves my point that fans of the show would move to a new network...

I don't see the fans of OR to be "Die-hard" enought to look for it.

Yes, some will, but even thouse may not care enought to NOT try and instead sample whats new on ABC or another Network OVER the CW.

Only if every OTH fan would like OR. Which is not true

Bones is definitely more deserving of a renewal than Prison break or terminator:SCC. I don't think that anyone realistically expects Bones to be cancelled this year.

It's out of the question

CW doesn't want October Road. ABC doesn't want October Road. If ABC could have a do-over, they would never have renewed October Road in the first place. It is completely illogical for anyone to believe that October Road will move to CW.

I'm sure they'll get a better return on those 2 networks. Both TBS and TNT have solid lineups right now. Here's to TBS continuing to add multi-camera comedies like Bill Engvall Show, House of Payne, and even stuff like 10 Items or Less, My Boys, and Frank TV. All good stuff for them to continue to pursue.

I don't see that happening. The CW is sitting on the 'real estate' for its value.

Agreed. They may even want to move one of those cable nets into the lower channel tiers once the digital switch is flipped.

Sadly, I agree. OR is dead. ABC did give this show a shot and even a high profile premiere but it still wasn't enough.

personally I don't see it happening but it's a nice thought. I would LOVE to see the CW pick up Moonlight (since it's not looking so good for them) but after listening to everyone here when this topic comes up this isn't something networks really do. It's nice to dream though.

Not to be pushy but did anyone see my previous question about the comedies on the CW, are they really going to only have one left (EBHC)? Does this tie into the network letting go of some of their staff....

To be clear, I completely agree that OR is dead on ABC -- I said as much many times, even earlier in this thread. My point is that its fanbase, ratings size, subject matter, and stars make it a compatible fit for the CW.
