That was really the worse pilot of the year in my opinion
Your opinion was way off, IMO. The episode was quite good and well worth watching.

CW does not program Saturday, but has 3 hours on Sunday.
MNTV does not program Sunday, but has 2 hours on Saturday.
MNTV would be wise to give up on Saturday programming since they are hitting around a half million viewers that night.
They only hit 1/2 q million when they air NFL's Total Access. Weh its a movie, its usually over a million, close to the network average.
This last Saturday they hit 550,000 viewers for the night with a special awards show. It was their highest Saturday night ratings in a month.

The movies would be the best option right now for them.

The best option is for them to talk FOX into letting them run same week American Idol encores. Wink Movies are not a bad option, but if MNTV really wants to pull into an even race with CW, their best option is to ditch their Saturday sinkhole completely, put a movie on one of the other weak nights, and hope that all the Smackdown! fans actually switch channels.

Well 1 million for their movies would be the same as the current CW Sunday block. Its all about improving elsewhere for them imo. If Smackdown does cross over viewers, then they have a real shot at improving Monday-Wednesday too. That would leave either Thursday but most likely Friday's movie and Saturday's movie as the low rated nights of the week. CW will probably have at least one night again next fall where they average in the million viewer range. Who knows what else will happen.

Oh, I don't disagree with that. But my point is that its the programming, not the night.

On Saturday February 2nd, a repeat of the Harlem Globetrotters Special drew 1.39 million and ranked #5 on the MyTV rankings list for that week.

On Saturday December 30th, MyTV aired the movie BIG and it was the highest rated show for the network that week, with 1.76 million viewers.

MyTV needs to dump the NFL programming and air ANYTHING else on Saturdays.

No, it would still leave them 25% short of CW numbers for this week which was actually a newly transported lineup with The Game still in rerun.

Last week the Sunday comedy block didn't do any better than Life is Wild or the repeats of Top Model from earlier this season. I don't expect originals of the Game to pull 2 million viewers when it returns with new eps later on this year.

Especially once it faces new episodes of DH, Cold Case and ESPN Sunday Night Baseball

October Road is perfectly paired with ABC. The only other networks that would be even as close to an ideal for this show are Lifetime and Oxygen.

That was exactly my point. Thanks.

I'm dying to see their ratings. Net reactions I have read are positive compared to how awful I think it is. I much prefer Moonlight but I have a suspicion that this one might get better ratings.

I don't really expect CW to keep the comedies on Sunday by next Fall. They have Friday opening up and they still have Monday as a better option. I know they are planning to move PCD after ANTM which shows that they are somewhat serious about keeping Gossip Girl on Monday, but that still seems like a very iffy scheduling decision.

Today of course it will get big numbers beacause of the lead-in but without AI will do worse than Moonlight
