It was a dumb move by Fox because it is airing on a holiday and viewership is always lower on holidays...There were two reasons I was pissed about the switch, one involved me and one involved the show...I want the show to get good ratings and get renewed and by airing it on labor day they aren't going to get as good of ratings as they would have airing it on august 25...just watch

I finally got around to watching Fear Itself. It was horrible and I mean REALLY horrible. The last time I remember seeing something this bad as when I caught part of a Sci-Fi original movie that had giant killer mosquitos.
The only thing in NBC's favor is that this is an anthology series, so each episode can have a different cast/writers/directors/etc... So, there is a chance that future episodes could be totally different.
On the other hand, NBC probably had a half dozen episodes to choose from to air as the 'premiere'. So someone at NBC thought that this episode was the best one the show had to offer.
