Wanna boost traffic...here goes.

1. 30 Rock is overrated.

2. It's time for Veronica Mars to end.

Get ready!!!

I think that the programming arena may also have drawn some hits away from the primary thread. But Marc is right-everything's fine!

And 30 Rock

Yes, Marc is probably going through withdrawal each Friday morning that he doesn't get to label it a loser! Big Grin

It's coming back soon, though.

The reason I'm not counting 7th Heaven out of the running yet is because of the slim chance that the producers could grab the now-likely-free Barry Watson and David Gallagher back for some episodes of the 12th season. If so, the show could regain some of its charm.

However, despite T-Bone (who doesn't irk me as much as he does Marc), I think season 11 has been more creative than season 10. There haven't been too many serialized episodes - several stand-alone ones unlike last year where everything was based on the previous week. I think the fact that only Ruthie, Lucy, Sam and David are left (just like season 8) is what's bugging people most.

Grab one more Camden back and we could see a nice season 12. Otherwise, as one of the show's most loyal fans, I will happily accept a series finale on May 13.

Yes, unfortunately, I think this is the end of 7th Heaven. This whole storyline with T-Bone moving in with the Camdens has just not worked. After 11 seasons, I think it is time to close shop

What did everyone think of Battlestar Galactica Finale last night? I thought it was good. The cliffhanger was "okay" but nothing sensational. While I thought Baltar's trial was extremely well written and well acted but it did not work in the finale. I was expecting something more explosive more on the lines of "Exodus II" which was I think the 4th episode of the season and the finale to the New Caprica story arc. They should have told Balter's trial storyline in place of the 5-6 crappy stand alones they had in the later part of the season, that would have made the season as a whole a lot better. Tigh, Anders etc storyline was by far the best part!

fyi..
from Mediaweek..
The Peyton Manning-hosted Saturday Night Live on March 24 earned the show’s highest household rating in more than 10 months in the metered markets, averaging a 5.9 rating and 15 share.

In the Indianapolis market, where Manning plays for the NFL Colts, the show averaged a 23.0 rating and 49 share, four times SNL’s average in the market during the recent February sweeps.

Manning also drew heavy ratings in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he played his college ball. In that market, the show averaged a 10.4 rating, 23 share.

Considering that the next episode won't be until 2008, I was hoping for less of a cliffhanger this time. I think the trial was interesting, btu the implications were not. I guess we now know it was Tighe that Xenabot said "I'm sorry" to. And I wonder if Starbuck has been to "The Ship of Lights" that was seen in the original series.

Really wish the Chief wasn't a Cylon.

Wasn't abc suppose to air a gameshow hosted by Jimmy Kimmel? Anybody know what happened to it?

Completely agree. Ditch the local street urchins and bring back Barry Watson and the female who plays his wife.

I agree with MrPotato...you really can never underestimate the ability for 7th Heaven to swing back and forth with its level of "enjoyability". If they could reduce budget by getting rid of Martin, Sandy, T-Bone, Jane, and Margaret, and bring back David Gallagher and/or Barry Watson for some episodes then season 12 would be fine. When they brought those 2 back for season 9, that year was almost as good as the first 6 years to most fans after a horrible season 8. Stephen Collins, in a TV Guide video interview, said the veteran 7th Heaven actors are now making roughly what they made during seasons 5 or 6. That's a big paycut...talk about loyal employees who deserve loyal fans!

Obviously people who dislike the show will bad mouth it here. But it's always produced good-for-you humor and family charm. And the CW cannot afford to start completely fresh on BOTH Sundays and Tuesdays (if both GG and VM are gone) so they may use 7th Heaven as backup. Who knows. If the CW plays its cards right, the Camdens can certainly deliever. But moving it to Sundays was not a smart move and it has shown.

I've been with 7th Heaven since day 1 and will gladly join them for another season. Question is...what night works best and can any former Camdens come back from time to time?

Hahaha yeah...I wouldn't mind seeing a medical spinoff with Barry Watson (Matt), Sarah Danielle Madison (Sarah) and their twin boys. That'd be nice.

But Barry Watson has always been loyal to 7th Heaven...coming back whenever needed if he can. Hopefully he can pull through for us next season and we can get an enjoyable season 12. Otherwise, let's have a nice ending in May.
