-Ratings Breakdown: Due to an approximate 38-minute prime time overrun for the ongoing NCAA Basketball Tournament, CBS’ regularly scheduled Sunday line-up -- 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race: All Stars, Cold Case and Without a Trace -- began at about 7:39 p.m. ET. Results for the first-place Eye net are listed by half-hour (instead of by program) due to the potential discrepancies.
CBS/Sunday 7:00 p.m. Viewers: 15.44 million (#1), A18-49: 4.8/17 (#1) 7:30 p.m. Viewers: 12.30 million (#1), A18-49: 3.2/11 (#1) 8:00 p.m. Viewers: 12.82 million (#1), A18-49: 3.3/10 (#2t) 8:30 p.m. Viewers: 10.26 million (#2), A18-49: 3.0/ 8 (#2) 9:00 p.m. Viewers: 12.04 million (#1), A18-49: 3.6/ 9 (#2) 9:30 p.m. Viewers: 11.50 million (#1), A18-49: 3.1/ 8 (#2) 10:00 p.m. Viewers: 15.16 million (#1), A18-49: 3.9/10 (#1) 10:30 p.m. Viewers: 13.50 million (#1), A18-49: 3.5/ 9 (#1)
ABC and Fox shared the No. 2 spot, with ABC second in total viewers and Fox second among adults 18-49.
ABC opened the evening with original episodes of America’s Funniest Home Videos (Viewers: #2, 8.35 million; A18-49: #2, 2.3/ 8) and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (Viewers: #1, 12.04 million; A18-49: #1, 4.2/11) from 7-9 p.m., followed by repeats of Desperate Housewives (Viewers: #4, 6.55 million; A18-49: #4, 2.2/ 5) and Brothers & Sisters (Viewers: #3, 4.33 million; A18-49: #3, 1.7/ 4) from 9-11 p.m. As previously announced, all four ABC Sunday shows have been officially renewed for 2007-08.
Two episodes of waiting-to-be-axed sitcom The War at Home (repeat and original) kicked-off the night for Fox with an average 3.15 million viewers (#4) and a 1.4/ 5 among adults 18-49 (#4) from 7-8 p.m. That led into The Simpsons (Viewers: #3, 6.91 million; A18-49: #2t, 3.3/10) at 8 p.m., followed by the return of King of the Hill (Viewers: #4, 6.03 million; A18-49: #3, 2.8/ 7), Family Guy (Viewers: #3, 7.97 million; A18-49: #1, 4.2/10) and American Dad (Viewers: #3, 6.57 million; A18-49: #1, 3.3/ 8) from 8:30-10 p.m.
NBC, meanwhile, had a bland Sunday courtesy of Dateline (Viewers: #3, 4.96 million; A18-49: #4, 1.2/ 4), the series-finale of reality/competition dud Grease: You’re the One That I Want (Viewers: #3, 6.78 million; A18-49: #4, 1.9/ 5), a repeat of Deal or No Deal (Viewers: #2, 9.59 million; A18-49: #3, 2.7/ 7), and The Apprentice 6 (Viewers: #3, 6.75 million; A18-49: #2, 2.7/ 7). Rumor has it that Donald Trump is still referring to The Apprentice as the No. 1 show on television. This is No. 1?
Repeats of the CW’s Pussycat Dolls: The Search for the Next Doll (Viewers: 1.59 million; A18-49: 0.7/ 2), 7th Heaven (Viewers: 1.44 million; A18-49: 0.5/ 1) and America’s Next Top Model (Viewers: 1.74 million; A18-49: 0.8/ 2) were buried in the distant No. 5 spot. The CW, no doubt, will have its work cut out getting Sunday into shape next season.
I know that the overuns make things tricky but I have a question:
So in the 8p.m. half-hour, 60 Minutes was on the East Coast but Amazing Race was on the West Coast. Does the 8p.m. overnnight half-hour reflect the ratings for both shows at the time?
Thank you for removing the "Go Charla" comment from the original MediaWeek newsletter
GOD I HATE MIRNA AND SCHMIRNA! Ugly, ugly Americans.
What do you think CW can/will do with Sunday next season? It seems unlikely that 7th Heaven will be back. So will the whole evening go to repeats, or will they try and put some originals in there (there was some hub bub last week about a proposed "newsmagazine" based on their product-placement-laced "content wraps")
Even though Bros.and Sisters was a repeat, it was a good repeat. I still marvel at how great Sally Field is,this woman is awsome. She better get some emmy lovin come fall or I will be so pissed!!!!!
I will say it then, "Go Charla (and Mirna by default)!!!!!"
I think they make the show so much more interesting and I love that they have kicked butt the last two episodes. They are almost a day ahead of Danielle/Eric and the Gay Grannies (Team Guido). Let's hope they keep up that lead and eliminate Team Guido next week!

Well, I think Donald may be referring to his very affluent audience, which in the 18-49 and $100,000 income bracket "The Apprentice" is the number two show on NBC, behind only "The Office", and number 1 in his time slot.
Then again, there might be a bit of delusion involved as well...
I really like the little comedic elements they put on the show.

Next week's a 2 hour episodes, so my guess is that at the end of the first hour, Phil will say, "You're still racing!" I'm betting that over the course of the 2 hours, there are enough "equalizations" to make things competitive.
If that's not the case, though, the Guidos might be going out the same way they did in Season 1 (being given a letter way before the've even finished their tasks informing them that they're finished).
