Ouch for SW. And Heroes numbers are disappointing for a season finale, given the competition. Chuck is now promising, but Life didn't do much better than JM.

So much for K-Ville beating Underbelly. That ABC lineup may not be drawing eyeballs, but at least it's skewing pretty young. And the October Road number would be a season high in demo, which is interesting since it wasn't post Grey's and it wasn't in the Dancing halo this time.
Heroes generated little extra interest for the finale. And Life didn't hold on well at all, especially in demo. It did better than Journeyman, but Journeyman was up against original Miami much of the time. As for Chuck, at least it won its slot in demo, even if it was against all repeats. It's no Heroes, but it'll probably be around for a little while.
Unfortunate to see Samantha Who decrease so much, but it did retain a good portion of its lead in. If Dancing Wars does decently, and I think it will, then SW should rebound a bit. Notes appears to be a complete flop, while October Road simply needs a lead in. Perhaps launching Miss/Guided and holding Notes would've been a better idea.
Life did improve some from Journeyman's recent numbers.

SAMANTHA WHO I feel is the best ABC sitcom since TOWNIES back in the late 1990's so I'm sorry to see it take such a dip.
I really don't understand why after all people were willing to watch it after DTWS when they could simply have turned off the tv or switched channels...so why don't they show up now when its on its own?
CHUCK is the biggest benificiery of the strike...benefitting from no PRISON BREAK and the CBS repeats.
Notes from the Underbelly was up 2 million viewers from its Season Finale last year. I guess that is good news for the show. I am surprised it was renewed though.

I'd say its a few factors: One is that promotion probably dipped this week compared to last week so a few folks probably thought repeat. Two is that when your lead in dips by half, you're bound to see dippage. It's unfortunate for ABC, but they are far from end of the world numbers.
It looks like the combination of Tin Man on SciFi and The Closer on TNT may have kept numbers down on the networks. Any news on how those shows did on Monday night?
