I understand it just fine. I just think it sucks. Big time.
And if NBC weren't in such big trouble, this pile o' crap would've been axed years ago.

Actually, The Office was above average--honestly, they have been getting the show back into decent shape lately. Though I must confess, any episode that heavily features Rainn Wilson is going to make me laugh--"You-must-learn-your rulesssss----or you'll-be-eaten--in-your-sleep!"
30 Rock could not have a more compatible lead-in, or more hype, and it still loses almost two million viewers, and slightly over a full percentage point in the demo. NBC can keep it on for another decade, but it'll never catch on.
As somebody blogging the Golden Globes said "It's official--30 Rock now has more awards than it has viewers."
30 Rock is an incredible funny show. It deserves all the awards its getting. And it deserves more viewers then its getting but the demo numbers are very strong. Maybe all of you that don't like it does not understand the great humor that is on the show
It's rare the week SPN doesn't have a hot female guest.
Then I guess this was one of those rare occasions, cuz I didn't see any.

But I don't know why you a have a problem with them. It's not like they suck at acting.
I don't have a problem with either of them--and Padalecki's Dean was the least-annoying of Rory Gilmore's many annoying boyfriends. They're both far preferable to the guys on most youth shows these days. But I don't like the way they're written most of the time.
However, I do like Cortese, and I like her character, whose conflicts strike me as being more interesting. She was already damned, and she's trying to make amends for past wrongs. It's not terribly original, but you normally only see male characters (like Angel, Nicholas Knight, or Barnabas Collins) with that kind of backstory. They're now giving Dean that backstory, but it's not working, because he's being such a drama queen about it.
It's not much, but it'll keep me watching when she's around. If they give Ruby a new body, btw, I am GONE.
But I honestly don't think I'm the audience they're going for, anyway. Of course, they're not getting so much of that audience either.

Some CSI viewers really will see Grissom's departure as a natural endpoint for the show, and just walk away. Others will be curious about Samuel Jackson. But it's VERY late in the show's history to be introducing a new major character, let alone replacing the central protagonist.
A&E's The Beast is a really good show. I watched that instead of SN. The pilot was solid. Patrick and Travis Fimmel worked extremely well together. I did notice however sometimes Fimmel's australian accent would slip through, but that was the only problem I had with the show. Excellent start.
1) there are many other options on at 9:30 Thursdays. You are free to watch any or none of them.
2) It is true that the genernal weakness of NBC helps 30 Rock. And? If the fact that Knight Rider or Kath and Kim tanked resulted in giving me another season of 30 Rock, I'm good with that.

Aww Dean/Rory was so cute!
I guess "Supergirl" is past her hot days?
While I like this Ruby better that Katie Cassidy's, I really hope she has an agenda with pushing Sam's powers. It was a long road to get the brothers to trust her, so the betrayal when they least expect it would be sweet. I think something will go down along those lines in the finale. Just speculation but this scenario would be more intereting to me than a demon with a heart of gold. And they have a good reason to not replace Cortese after "justifying" the whole possesion thing.
I agree on the Dean storyline. I miss the old light-hearted Dean.
Well, i'm the audience they're looking for, but it's not like I have a Nielsen Box! Or much money to buy stuff!
Anyway, i'm not so tough on shows I watch as long as i'm entertained (just please don't kill the poor dog ) Even if an episode isn't great, it looks super cool. The production values are really good for a small show I think.

LOL and it's so annoying too! I find myself watching the award shows and going Oh please not 30 rock again! And it ALWAYS wins! I'll never get it!
I felt the exact same way about Everyone Loves Raymond. I loathed that show and it won everything, all the freaking time.
I have no opinion on 30 Rock, as I've never seen a single minute of it. Although it's slim pickings in the comedy department all around. I couldn't think of five shows to nominate myself. My list would be Chuck, and errr...Ray Wise from Reaper.

Maybe it didn't deserve so many awards but ELR was pretty funny now and then. 30 Rock is anything but a comedy
