Join in all the fun of predicting ratings in the PIFC Daily Game! Tuesday's game features the Series Premiere of The CW's 90210 and the Season Premiere of FX's The Shield. Will 90210 live up to the hype and be The CW's first breakout hit or will it fall flat on its face?
Also, several of us in the TV Talk Chat Room right now...
Labour Day Eve is the Fourth of July in September. This should be the last poor Sunday until the end of the November Sweep!
As I am posting this note, all across America, television listings are being thumbed through, clickers issued new batteries, and sets are being turned on in households that have been mostly turned off over the summer months as the fall season is launched with mini-tsunami of viewers tonight for both FOX and The CW (and perhaps MyNetworkTV in the urban demographics).
VOTE IN THE PIF NETWORK GAME: http://pifeedback.com/eve/foru...93910104/m/179109972 TONIGHT: ---> NEW <--- EPISODES OF KILLER ISLAND, AND GETTING SOME. PLUS SISTERHOOD, GATED COMMUNITY, DRACULA, ROSIE, LIFE HAPPENS, AND FALLING WITH STYLE!
I think 90210 will between 2 to 4 million at best. I will be shocked and eat my words if it does more than 4 million viewers. I just hope it is as good as the original.

CBS continues to fail to realize that their Sunday lineup is put together in the dumbest way possible. 60 Minutes realistically is the best lead in for Cold Case. Not only would Cold Case's viewer numbers go up but it would also allow CBS to have a more gradual gain throughout the night in terms of demo. Repeats of Million Dollar Password are about as useful as Housewives repeats. Shove another repeat of CC at 9 and move BB to 10pm. While its clear it won't happen this summer, it should be their plan for next summer.
Tomorrow is the big day as we get to see the ratings between FOX and CW and the day after 90210 ratings. Could be a make or break morning for CW's future. Prison Break was amazing tonight and Sarah does this show justice when she is on here. This might Prison Break's best episode since the show started.
I didn't watch BB10 on Sunday, but I always watch After Dark on Showtime to keep me updated if I miss it on CBS. I think some of that BB10 audience was outside.
National Treasure might've saved theatricals on the networks and when is Batman Begins on ABC? That should be a huge movie night for ABC.
