Can't wait to read their comments when PD lands a second season and a few Emmy nods.

Every show grew from Holloween night. When ABC looks in spring at 6-7 million viewers for PD trust me a second season is out of the question.
That's why the strike it's a blessing. It does not have time to lose many viewers

It won't be airing originals in the spring thanks to the strike. I'm guessing it won't be new eps til next fall.
Stick a fork in DSM, its done. Once finals are released, it should be under 8 million viewers for the night, a season/series low.
Agreed. ABC will air the remaining episodes and the epitaph will read "death-by-strike."
Yes the Strike is Killing lotsa shows. So I have no positive news in regards to resolve. I loved the show last night and so did the studio.
Demo is the same as last weeek 2.9 and the 8.1 is 100k less than the final last week 8.2, so we get 7.9 and drop 200k , thats not significant to cause cancellation IMHO.

WHAT? We all know this show it's going to get 1000 Emmy nominations. What's the surprise. And by the way who cares about Emmy nods? Those who are making the nominations probably don't even watch TV.

Me.
Wed at 9 are tough for me. I TiVO Gossip Girl in my room, record with a VCR Private Practice in the den, and watch KN with my mom in her bedroom.
That does sound tough; fortunately I don't have any competition (I don't have TIVO so it's a good thing). Did you like last night's episode? I just read an article in the NY Times about the restaurant for last night's episode. They said they need ramsay there because of all the infighting between the family. They thought their food was ok but then realized it was bad after he came. The owner also said business was up around 35% - 37% since Ramsay came (and this was before the episode aired).

The big loser of the night is ABC.
You're right. NBC is so bad these days i forgot it even existed.

It doesn't. It's just our minds playing tricks again.

I would imagine Ramsay's effects on the restaurant would have increased business even prior to the episode airing. They will probably do very well from now on, as well!

Emmy kept Arrested Development around for 3 seasons and kept this show already pulls more viewers. Ugh oh!
I wouldn't be surprised if ABC sticks with Pushing Daisies through the rest of the season, then ships it off to ABC Family or The Family Channel or whatever they're calling it these days.
