ER was just great! I expected a bit more, but considering that Edward's return was not THAT promoted and the poor performance of 30 Rock, ER was very good. EH and LoM get pretty good numbers from CSI and GA, but they just waste them... Meanwhile, ER increases 30 Rock's numbers! (for a change ... but this time it was too much). Anyway, I'm really happy about ER.
But 30 Rock was just disappointing, with all that appearance by Jen Aniston. That's a shame cuz I love her and I love the show (:
can anyone confirm if SV is done after this year? I thought this was the last season but now I'm hearing that it may be back for one more year. I'm loving this year!
SN great as usual (demon sex though, ewwww).
GA - I hated the brain tumor makes my love return storyline on General Hospital (if that's where this is going) GW has lost me with Jim and the rumors floating around with that. But I'm ashamed to say let Izzie be crazy if I get to see my Denny every week, as silly as this story is he's one HOT man!!
Pisher, retaining 80-90% of the lead-in is not significantly worse. If that is the case, a number of shows are doing horribly.
I think we all realize that you hate that show more than life itself. We get it. But, there are some of us who like it. Alot!
To the group, can we lay off the gratuitous bashing that this show seemingly always gets? Hopefully, this show will be canceled soon so that you all can find something else to hate. I am sure many of you are viewing your tv guide waiting for something to sink your claws into.

I love this show and have found this season to be funny so far! My coworkers were talking about jury duty today and I chucked and thought of Liz Lemon dressing up as Princess Leah to get out of jury duty.

The data for this and last year are all final Nielsen numbers except for last night which is preliminary data. All Sweep calculations incorporate Nielsen final numbers for primetime programming, Monday to Saturday 8-11 pm, and Sunday 7-11 pm. For daytime over-runs into primetime and primetime run-pasts into latenight (e.g. sports coverage, award shows), only the primetime portion of the program numbers have been factored in. For networks that split programs into multiple segments of sustaining and non-sustaining coverage, the rating for the sustaining portion applies to the entire program broadcast.
LIFE ON MARS...I feel I should want to like it but it just suffers from two serious problems...too many unlikable characters and the GILLIGAN'S ISLAND syndrome...he can never make any significant progress to "get home" or the show is over.
As for SURVIVOR...a weak season has finally picked up now that Man Who Would Be King-Marcus and sychopant Charlie are gone...and Randy..my god this guy is a cretin. I can't imagine hiring him to video your wedding-especially if you are a minority since his tirade at Crystal at Tribal made it pretty clear his feelings.
But you only mention the negative. You forget to mention how it's up from last year or how it retained The Office's numbers. I just prefer the analysis to be a bit more balanced.

And 2 million viewers and one full point above last year's numbers. So?
The Jennifer Anniston episode lagged behind in quality if compared to the two previous episodes. Both her plot and the Night Court finale didn't work well.
