2.5 Men is still the funniest sitcom on TV.

You don't consider The Office to be a sitcom?

Will these new numbers get a new forum all their own in the Ratings Box?

Again, not good for the CW. Aliens in America is not doing too well out of Everybody Hates Chris.

Marc, do you know if you will be receiving the Live+3 data that will be released on either Oct. 15th or 16th? And if you do, is there anyway that you could possibily post that information somewhere on this site? Thanks.

Peace!!

We're in october now not in april. By then it will drop below 10 million. As last season shows October-February are the months with the biggest numbers watching television

Journeyman might as well get cancelled now. I guess they can hold off a few more weeks on cancelling Chuck, but it looks like it won't make it a full season. Will NBC ever find a way to solve the death slot after Heroes? Will they just toss Heroes Origins in that timeslot since it is clearly the 'most compatible' option?

Why would they double up the originals when Heroes repeats so badly.
Origins was ment to be used to limit the amount of repeats during that March-April period.

I watched a bit of Chuck, and I wasn't impressed--it's a well made show, but I just don't see the point. Nobody believes in this type of spycrap anymore. It's an 80's show stuck in the 00's.

Oh, and Adam Baldwin is a showkiller. That too. Not quite in Nathan Fillion's league, but he's up there.

Well, the Class had the same HUT advantage, and it came in behind HIMYM every week. I am glad BBT is doing well.

BBT will be gone. There is no way this show is gonna last. As far as HIMYM I think it will last no longer than next season. Ratings have dropped.

Don't do it to yourself, do it to others.

I am glad to see that Prison Break continues to hold steady at 7.2 million viewers. It looks like although they lost a bit of their audience from last year they have stabilized and found their core viewers for this season.

Stabilizing at the low 7M is not good, considering they averaged in the low 9M mark last year. Not looking good for a fourth season, IMO. What will the 4th season premiere get...5M viewers?

With these numbers PB will get a fourth season. But fear they'll drop till the end of the season

You think? Because last year, the series consistently got 9M viewers, then dropped to a low for the finale. From the finale to this year's premiere, the difference is about 0.8M. If that's the trend (about a 20% drop comparing the premieres of Seasons 2 and 3), then the projected ratings for the S4 premiere should be about below 6M. Will that be enough?

The problem is this show does not gain viewers, it only loses viewers. And with the furor over the way the show handled the SWC/Sara Tancredi situation, I see them losing some more viewers after this.

You wouldn't like to bet on that would, you ?
These are CBS's two youngest skewing shows, and once DWTS goes on break both will get better ratings.

Aliens in America is a typical 'family sitcom'. It should be the kind of thing that conservative America would soak up. Unfortunately, it looks like the right wing propaganda machine took hold and labled it as poison for having a Muslim character. The result is that AiA may never get sampled by people looking for a 'family sitcom' even though the 'Muslim' angle really has almost nothing to do with the show.

WHAT????

Are You Smoking Crack???
What in the world does " the right wing propaganda machine" have to do with this? AiA is in the wrong place within the CW Schedule. Its lucky that the two shows that suround it are only up about a 1/2 million from AiA.

Just another Left-wing conspiracy Theory. Wink

I think they are running it repeat free from February till the end of season so it should be able to keep the momentum

I can bet you with all the talk PB is getting its ratings would actually go up next week. It's been a long time since PB got this kind of buzz.

Only problem is "Prison Break" is being preempted for ALCS baseball next week.

How can it gain viewers, when it's so hard to just jump into the story at this point? The viewers that it has now are those who have been there since season one. This show cannot gain any more, it is only bound to lose viewers.

I agree with TVFanatic3314 if that poster is looking at these two comedies as being in competition with each other for a single renewal spot next season. The two shows are about equal in ratings. When it comes time to renew, the deciding factors will be stability (HIMYM) and proximity to syndication money (HIMYM) over theoretically possible potential for growth (BBT). If BBT doesn't improve vs. HIMYM, you can expect BBT to go the same route as The Class and, soon, TNAoOC.
