Before everyone starts burying any of these younger skewing male oriented shows like Heroes, Chuck or the CBS sitcoms, etc. I think that one important thing was left out of these ratings. No one mentioned that the two most storied franchises in sports both played big, ratings winning type games last night. The NY Yankees played for their lives, and the Dallas Cowboys played an exciting last second type game. Those games certainly had to pull some viewers from these male oriented 18-49 year old shows. DWTS would not lose much to these shows, because it is female skewing, but the NBC and CBS shows had to lose viewers to these two unusual Monday night games.

Peace!
Somewhere, every bit of this data is being calculated and then Nielsen is selling it to advertisers. How much of it will get released to the public remains to be seen. Hopefully, we will get to see complete ratings lists, but we may only get the bits and pieces that the networks release in their 'spin' press releases. I can't wait to find out what the Top10 shows are for percentage of viewers actually watching the commercials. Advertisers will find that to be a big plus so networks are more likely to save shows that advertisers will pay more for. On the other hand, I'm guessing that fans want to claim superiority by watching shows with the lowest percentage number of viewers actually watching the commercials. We will see two almost diametrically opposed views on commercial ratings.

I don't think there is much need to cause alarm about Heroes. Last season during the April/ May sweeps episodes it was getting a similar 11 million and 5ish in the demo. It will stabilize to its May numbers.

I agree about sports... you have 20M in New York State and both the Yankees and Bills were on TV in primetime... both losing

HIMYM up from last week. Big Bang even in the demo and only down about 2-3% in viewers. Big Bang should be getting a back nine within the next week or two. I think people are leaving Chuck for the CBS hour.
Credit K-Ville for stabilizing. But stabilizing at 2.0 isn't saying much. Still the lowest-rated scripted show on the big four. Needs to go, although Fox might give it another relatively undeserved week, since there's no clear answer for what to put there.
NBC's becoming a disaster. If everything tanks again on Wednesday, I think they should just go Deal/Heroes/Bionic on Monday and bring some of their slated-for-Sunday shows back early to Wednesday. Worth noting for Journeyman, though, is that the Heroes retention is basically the same. Its downslide is largely tied to Heroes' downslide. Hard to make the same excuses for Chuck.

Chuck should bet some looks from the people leaving Prison Break... how many who knows? but every MB is littered with PB fans not watching again after last night....

Definitely true, and the Dallas Cowboys have a huge national following. I think these two teams playing on the same night affected the ratings for all the male 18-49 year old crowd.

I can bet you with all the talk PB is getting its ratings would actually go up next week. It's been a long time since PB got this kind of buzz.

Unforunately most shows suffer lower ratings in the spring then in the fall. So when we see any returning show having declines we think, my god how low are they going to be in the spring. Hopefully some of these shows will surprise us, otherwise, Yikes.

2.5 Men is still the funniest sitcom on TV.
