Will Journeyman be the first cancellation of the season? I so would have bet on Cavemen.

Do you think the numbers for Heroes might be down because people can just watch it for free online or download it on iTunes? I know quite a few people that are already watching/TiVoing two shows during the 9:00 hour and watch the next day on NBC.

I'm very happy to see PRISON BREAK inch out over CHUCK which is doing the slow fade that other sci/fi shows like SURFACE seem to inevitably do. Though PRISON BREAK...MAY just MAY see a hit due to viewer anger over the horrible way they dispatched DR.SARAH when negotiations with SWC could not return her to the screen.

Sorry that JOURNEYMAN is also on borrowed time. All the new shows that I LIKE such as this, BIG SHOTS and ALIENS aren't doing well. Sucks to be me.

I'm glad CBS comedy line up is losing some of its mojo. While there is nothing wrong with sex...its reached almost VULGAR levels that every plot of the CBS comedies in some way has to revolve around it. Enough all ready...look to the classic shows like BEVERLY HILLBILLIES and I DREAM JEANNIE that drew comic situations that didn't involve someone getting laid. End of rant.

Well Cavemen started 2 weeks later and believe me it's not that far behind in the cancellation tree.

Don't do it to yourself, do it to others.

Marc, do you know if you will be receiving the Live+3 data that will be released on either Oct. 15th or 16th? And if you do, is there anyway that you could possibily post that information somewhere on this site? Thanks.

Peace!!

I am glad to see that Prison Break continues to hold steady at 7.2 million viewers. It looks like although they lost a bit of their audience from last year they have stabilized and found their core viewers for this season.

Stabilizing at the low 7M is not good, considering they averaged in the low 9M mark last year. Not looking good for a fourth season, IMO. What will the 4th season premiere get...5M viewers?

PB is amazingly at 7.2 for three weeks in a row. Now that's consistency. Let's week though for next week's numbers and see if many viewers will leave the show after seeing last night's episode

Will that info be out that early or delayed until Oct. 22nd? The Live+7 Is *only* taking them a couple of weeks to compile, but the commercial ratings, C3, are said to take even longer.

So there is the Live+3 and Live+7 that is taking place? I am just a tad bit confused about all of this. But all the numbers that are gathered from the Live+3 and Live+7 data, will end up being calculated for shows, correct?

Peace!

This proves that Heroes just isn't a Lost. It looks like it's a lot harder to succeed in the TV world today then it used to be. This season seems proof of that. I just hope Reality Shows stop getting so much ratings, they are KILLING the field for the rest of us.

Lost and Pushing Daisies are awesome!

While not a loser... hard to call Heroes a winner this season. The Heroes ship continues to leak...

Heroes 10/08/2007 5.0/11 among adults 18-49 from 9-10 p.m. Total Viewers 10.75M

Heroes 10/01/2007 5.5/13 among adults 18-49 from 9-10 p.m. Total Viewers 11.94M
One year earlier, Heroes averaged 12.96 million viewers and an equal 5.5/13 among adults 18-49.

Heroes 09/24/2007 6.5/15 among adults 18-49 from 9-10 p.m. Total Viewers 14.12M
Heroes debuted on the year-ago evening with 14.09 million viewers and a 5.9/14 in the demo.

I don't watch the show but everyone i know complains of how bad Heroes turned out to be this season. That might explain the rapidly declining numbers

Eek! I can't believe how far Chuck has fallen. I really like the show.

Creatively, I think Prison Break and Heroes are suffering.

By the way, did anyone notice this press release on the live plus seven from CBS for the week prior to premiere week? Link: http://www.cbspressexpress.com/div.php/cbs_network/release?id=16926

The twins on Heroes sure keep finding extremely creative ways to get separated in every act. Wink

With these numbers PB will get a fourth season. But fear they'll drop till the end of the season
