How exactly did AFV have a lower result? It stomped last week's unnecessary Ty Pennington special, which couldn't pull 6 million and a 2 in the demo. It finished third behind football fueled CBS and NBC and did better than most airings this season (which included some half hour eps behind incompatible NASCAR). Not to mention, ABC wasn't airing regular Sunday shows which do much better than the Santa Clause, although for a movie, that did pretty well.
