So, that press release by ABC earlier was not the final numbers for DwTS or Boston Legal, just fast nationals? Because I see that CANE went up a bit in total viewers and the demo, so I am assuming the ABC lineup did as well.

Deal or No Deal: 10.6 Bionic Woman: 11.3 Life: 9.2
Back to You: 7.9 Til Death: 7.7 Kitchen Nightmares: 5.8
America's Next Top Model: 5.4 Gossip Girl: 3.8
Keith, just my opinion, but I think you've overstated ABC and understated NBC (at least for BW), although I'd rather you be right!
Here are my guesses:
ABC: DWTS - 16 million PP - 14 million DSM - 10 million
NBC: DOND - 10 BW - 14 Life - 8
CBS: KN - 8.5 CM - 15 CSI:NY - 13
I think its going to be a horse race between PP and BW... as NBC has really tried to turn up the marketing on BW, and awareness is sky-high. I don't think GA fans have been clamoring to see PP after the somewhat lukewarm response of the May episode that introduced everything.
I still see CBS winning both hours (9-11) in viewers. 18-49 will prob go to ABC (barely) at 9pm, but despite erosion for the franchise - I still see CSI:NY winning both measures at 10.
Should be interesting!
You're right on the money. NBC's Wednesday will be the sleeper success this season -- and ABC the major disappointment. I understand Daisies is in creative turmoil and will(per insiders) be gone by the start of the Nov sweep. I also predict PP will fade and be lucky to last the season.. and as for DSM, a hit with the critics but an audience disaster.

It's probably the best pilot for a serialized drama i've seen in some time. I still think CBS made a mistake by airing it at 10pm after The Unit
Maybe Wednesday night out of Criminal Minds. That is proven time period winner for CBS. Move CSI New York to Tuesday's at 10pm its already a Hit and I am sure it would do same numbers as it does on Wednesday's. Or how about Cane out of CSI Thursday's after all Knots Landing aired in that timeslot years ago and it was a hit. I'm sure it may not hold all of CSI's audience but for sure would hold a good chunk of it.
YESSSSSSSS nyctvdramaqueen you liked CANE to

A bleak Wednesday picture for ABC.
Are you kidding? Are you working for NBC? They already had two disappointments.

If you asked me i would've told you Thursdays at 10pm, but CBS would never do that. So why not Tuesdays at 9pm?

Yes, I really did. Boston Legal is still my baby at that timeslot, but I will be recording both shows as long as they are on together. I wish them both well.
Originally posted by Bruce: The other nite CC and SHARK did 3 and high 2's, respectively. 3.5 is very good for NCIS, will often barely clear 3.0. UNIT, high 2's last nite. CM will be happy to do low 3's.
You are incorrect, NCIS averaged 3.5 in the demo last year and The Unit averaged 3.2.
I was referring to THE UNIT last nite, and it is also true that NCIS on a number of occasions barely cleared 3.

My Thoughts on Last Night: Bones held up about where I thought it would. Great job House, bonafide hit.
If Cane can hold onto 10 million viewers it will stay on the air. The Unit should go Fridays at 9 when Moonlight flops. CBS could then move Cane up an hour and put Swingtown at 10.
NBC did well with cheap reality. SVU held up okay to last years numbers. An eight year old show (I think) is bound to have decline.
Looking at previews for Bionic Woman, it looks like nothing more than a rehash of Alias, except the Sydney Bristow character now has super human strength. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED Alias and it is one of my all-time favorites. But do we need or even want a show so similar back on the air so soon?

I think these are final #'s, because some of them changed from earlier today.
"Dancing With the Stars" kicked up its heels to another impressive showing Tuesday. The 90-minute dance contest delivered an average 18.5 million viewers to ABC and made the Disney-owned network tops in total viewers. Who knew letting Wayne Newton dance could be such a draw? His feet move; his face doesn't.
But "House" was the night's main destination for 18-to-49 viewers and gave Fox the lead in that age group. "House" averaged 18.3 million in its season premiere.
For the night, ABC averaged 14.4 mllion viewers to Fox's 13.4 million. CBS was the destination for nearly 12 million, with NBC drawing 8.5 million, The CW pulling in 3.1 million and MyNetworkTV grabbing 1.3 million.
Going by time slot ...
At 8 p.m., ABC was way out in front with "Dancing." CBS's "NCIS" fascinated 13.9 million, and Fox's "Bones" scared up 8.4 million. The CW's "Beauty and the Geek" amused nearly 3 million.
At 9 p.m., "House" was the top show for the hour. CBS' "The Unit" enlisted 10.7 million. The CW's impressive "Reaper" was sampled by 3.3 million -- a good showing for The CW.
NBC delivered two hours of "The Biggest Loser," which averaged 6.6 million.
At 10 p.m., NBC pulled to the front with 12.1 million watching "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." Wasn't that a terrific performance by Cynthia Nixon as a woman with multiple personalities? Expect to hear about that performance again at Emmy time.
CBS' "Cane" was sweet for 11.2 million. A 90-minute version of ABC's "Boston Legal" riveted 10.3 million.
Agree about the Unit, but Cane will be lucky to last. BATG is not dead. It faced the Dancing monster last night and should rebound some in the coming weeks. BL and Dancing aren't compatible. That had been established last year. SVU is aging along with the other Law and Orders but is still easily the best.

Reading USA Today's Robert Bianco reviews for tonight's premieres, PP and DSM actually get the highest reviews.....2.5 stars each out of 4. Not spectacular, but not that bad either. The worst reviewed shows of the lot are Bionic Woman and Life both getting 1.5 stars.....looks like NBC might not be in for a good night.

On Monday and then today on his radio show, Howard Stern gave kudos to "Back To You". Here's an excerpt from his Monday show, from Marksfriggin.com:
Howard said he watched Kelsey Grammer's new TV show and it was actually pretty funny. He explained what the show was about and said he's not a big sitcom fan but that show had some good laughs in it.
