How about getting rid of the John Connor character instead and keeping Summer Glau? It would make for a better show with more potential for interesting plotlines going forward. I suppose it would stray from the 'timeline' a bit unless John was off getting leadership training with rebels or something.
I guess Hulk Hogan and his Gladiators are here to stay for a while. Do we think Hellga deserves her own series?
Life with Hellga
Bringing up Hellga
The Hellga Show
Hellga and the Bear
Hellga vs. Reaper
And Howie Mandel mentioned at the end of DOND that Wednesday Night's ep will be the last of the "On a Mission for a Million" episodes. Does that mean that after the Kentucky woman, they're back to the regular game?

You know, she's hot. Seriously, if Cinemax signed her up for a nudie genre/action show, I'd seriously consider subscribing. I like the way she looks, and she's not a terrible actress (or a terribly good one). She's not star material. Period. Much as online fans adore her, regular viewers simply DO NOT CARE.
Plus it sucks that she's a robot. How am I supposed to ogle her when they're telling me EVERYTHING is fake?

Deck chairs on the Titanic, man. Deck chairs on the Titanic.
(and hey, I'd have been fine with them dumping Leo's character and making it all Kate Winslet in the nude, but I'm guessing that might have been a less successful film).

Mushu, why are they pulling Medium for 3 weeks? What's going in its place?
Still strong numbers for AG (I've heard that the 2 semifinal eps starting the week after next have been extended to 90 minutes-but they added an event to them (so 5 + Eliminator), so the filler shouldn't be that bad).
and I loved the "It wasn't a kick, it was a step" line...it's funny because it was true, no matter what the ref said..

Next week is State of the Union Address, then following 2 weeks both AG and DOND will be 90 minute eps.

Expanding DOND and AG to 90 minutes each for 2 weeks, plus a special on the 3rd week

Next week is the Presidents State of the Union. Then for 2 weeks NBC will have 90 minute Gladiators followed by 90 minute DOND.
From 1st to 2nd (20% drop) 2nd to 3rd (7% drop) 3rd to 4th (16% drop)
Demos 1st to 2nd (28% drop) 2nd to 3rd (4% drop) 3rd to 4th (12% drop)
SCC Drops:
From 1st to 2nd (44% drop) 2nd to 3rd (14% drop) Demos 1st to 2nd (56% drop) 2nd to 3rd (16% drop)
(calculation mistakes possible)
If you ignore that drop in the first week for SCC then the drop in their first normal episode is better than the drop from BW's pilot to their second episode. If we compare the 2nd to 3rd ep drops with each other then BW is ahead. However it seems that the real slide for BW came after this episode.

Maybe they could have the female Gladiator's be case ladies on an episode of DOND.
SCC is a typical example of an outdated development strategy: spend a ton of money on a pilot of an already branded product. The thinking is that the known quantity will bring in viewers and the feature quality pilot will get people hooked. But audiences have so many choices they just don't stay hooked when you inevitably slow down the story lines because a TV series must move slower than a film, and cut the budget by reducing the action and effects.
People just don't seem to be falling for this trick

I do tend to ignore the over inflated numbers for the Sunday Premiere. It got viewers it would not have normally gotten had it premiered on Monday.
Still T:SCC does need to level off or it will be the next BW. But the fact that it is still growing out of PB is encouraging.
SCC isn't doing as good as I hoped. Its growing from its lead in, but I dont think 8 mil is good enough for FOX. They were expecting this to be a huge hit. BUT, because of the strike, we'll be seeing all 9 episodes regardless. Hopefully it'll get up to 9/10 mil in 2 weeks time.
OT, but does the whole disguised terminator thing remind anyone of early Heroes season 1? (Sylar).
