Hey kblunt1. I would air a night of scripted dramas, and still think Grey's Anatomy would have been better off Monday at 9 p.m. Unfortunately, since The Nine and Six Degrees both flopped, the network does not have many options available to move something to the night.

What do you propose ABC do about their Monday lineup? No one was expecting them to top MNF but their lineup has been non-eventful.

Maybe they'll do a quick fix on Mondays with either the Performance or Results Dancing With the Stars?

I hope the VERY respectable showing of the CW Sunday will be included in your analysis. I consider this to be one of the biggest success stories of the week.

Also, I will like to get your take on What About Brian, it's clearly the biggest trouble of the night. Do you think ABC, will plan a time slot switch (maybe with The Nine) to try for better numbers?
"How I Met Your Mother" is mediocre? I know you won't get an argument from Marc but with the state of generic sitcoms and also lack of sitcoms on primetime TV in general, "How I Met Your Mother" is really good. CBS had tons of crap comedies on Monday nights recently like "Listen Up" and "Courting Alex". They absolutely deserved to get canceled.
"How I Met Your Mother" has a decent following and I'm proud to say that I'm among them. By the way, it was a really funny episode last night!
As a Girlfriends fan, and after talking to several other fans, I'd guess that the loss of one of the girlfriends is a possible reason why the performance of the show is sliding. Missing this season is Toni Childs (Jill Marie Jones), who's character provided another dimsension and humorous point of view in the friendship of the foursome. I think her loss has caused a decline in interest in the show from long time fans. I make more of a point to watch the re-runs on various networks than to watch the original episodes on the CW.
abc needs some comedies. They need to take some chances with comedy and hope for the next breakout hit. I liked Jake in Progress. They should have given it a chance.
