What did you think of Bones last night?
I thought it was a intersting episode. I am wondering if Angela and that guy had sex or if they just kissed. It was not one of the best episodes but next weeks looks real funny.

Well, TV-aholic didn't think so earlier today in this thread (LINK), but I didn't think it was that bad. Plus, there were some funny moments last night, as always with Bones.
And yes, it's safe to assume Angela's celibacy streak has ended, thanks to lucky intern intern, Wendell Bray! Talk about a Deal or No Deal: who knew the $45 Wendell gave her would be enough? (And hey, maybe this could be a great idea for a revised version of DoND! )
By the way, you can see how the FOX Thursday night lineup did in 56 of the Top 65 TV markets from earlier in this thread (LINK).

Why are young females so drawn to VAMPIRE shows/movies?
Well, i'm a 22 year old female, not too young, but I think vampires are very sexy/dangerous/hot/fun/romantic. It's the escapism it provides I guess, teens are drawn to fantasy (it's why Harry Potter is so popular too). I don't like all vampire shows/movies though. I was never a fan of Angel and thought Moonlight was pretty weak. I don't like Twilight much, but VD is actually a good show, a lot happens in each episode, it's intriguing and I like the characters and the overall look Marcos Siega created. He did it on Dexter and he does it here, the show looks great. True Blood is a lot of fun as well..

I agree. I'm a young male and while I don't exactly agree about vampires being sexy, I do think that Vampire Diaries is a great show and the feel of it is so right. However, I fear that they are going through story lines really, really quickly and I don't know if they can keep it up for so long, however, I don't think it would be a good show without the pace it has. Because of this I think it would be a better series, creatively, with 13 episodes per season, but that's obviously out the window. I think at some point I'm just not going to *buy* that they can't kill the brother and he's the only antagonist.
And about True Blood: best vampire series, in my book. It's quite fantastic!

I'm a 24 year old female and I just don't understand the fascination with vampires, or at least the vampire romance. I don't like Twilight, and I don't like Vampire Diaries. VD is poorly acted and it's like watching a weekly version of Twilight. I actually liked Angel (more for the demon fighting than for anything else). In fact, none of my female friends like vampires either. We're more fans of Supernatural (which was awesome last night). But, I think young females are attached to the danger of a vampire. They're hot, dangerous, and for some strange reason they all seem to be romantic. In years past girls were looking for their knight in shining armor, now it's a blood sucking vampire (or the lone vampire, trying to resist his nature, with a haunted past, falling in love with the girl next door)
