Sheesh, and people say I'm negative.

NA isn't promising, but there'll be people who like it, and defend it, against all reason, like all pointless FOX genre shows.
This one does have a rather unique conceit--the hero isn't simply immortal, but UNKILLABLE. No stake in the heart, no beam of sunlight, no kitana sword can kill him. He wants to die, and he can't.
Of course, when you get right down to it, neither can the protagonist of ANY open-ended TV series, at least until the writers are wrapping it up, and probably not even then.
So I guess at least they'd be sparing us the indignity of trying to make us believe that THIS week they really might kill the hero.
And his co-star is so boring (not that he's any prize) that they ought to kill her off ASAP--they could make a regular thing out of killing off his partners.
It's a nice-looking show, and the photo montage thingy was neatly done--but they didn't have any real substance behind it.
I honestly don't see why somebody would say THIS show sucked, and SCC didn't.
At least they're trying something sort of new here. Even though Forever Knight covers a lot of the same basic ground--and actually ended with the death of its immortal protagonist. Anyway, that was Crimetime AFTER Primetime. Doesn't count.
