BIB BROTHER looks to be picking up a little more steam. Though some drop off at the half hour but a TVBYTHENUMBERS.COM BIG BROTHER is in the top 10 of time shifted shows.
Idol is holding steady. As for the worst, I would say that it should be Luke, and Danny Norreiga, who I think is flat out irritating..
As for OTH, the show is holding steady in the 3 million range, which is great to see. The episode last night was insane, and I am glad to see the writers taking on issues like drug problems, divorce for young married couples, and taking on bad bosses...
And as for Jericho, I dont undrstand why the show has been almost a yo-yo in the ratings this year. Seems to lose a million viewers, gain them back, lose them again. Something doesn't seem right there. But as for the show itself, the writing this year has been stellar as well, and that last scene was terrific..
I'm surprised at oth's numbers...total viewers went down, but 18/49 and 18/34 went up this week...hmm...I guess that's all that matters though...I wasn't as impressed with this episode as others were...I thought it was one of the weaker ones of the season...it was great in some parts but really blah in others...the dan trial was a big letdown for me...I'll probably watch it on Sunday again since I kinda was distracted last night so maybe that's why I wasn't as into the episode...it was nice seeing rachel again, although I could have used one of her wisecracks...I think that's what the episode was missing...there was no mouth, skills, jamie, Rachel or even Brooke wisecracks...nothing that made me laugh...something past episodes usually do...I realize it was a more serious episode but the previous episode where they were trapped in the libary had an excellent balance of humor and drama imo
BB was about even from last week- so I guess that's OK. The big twist is supposed to happen tonight- there's a ton of speculation, but it might center around a "quarantine" from the "Hudson River Virus"...the ads said "A couple will be evicted- but will Big Brother let them leave?"
BTW- USA Today has the premiere dates for NBC's summer shows- they're starting early because of the Olympics:
American Gladiators- May 12th
Last Comic Standing- May 22nd
Nashville Star- June 9th
America's Got Talent- June 24th
Celebrity Circus- June 11th
The Baby Borrowers- June 25th
Fear Itself (the only scripted one of the bunch-it's a horror anthology)- May 29th
Biggest Loser always great to watch (not an Idol fan) and I really liked New Amsterdam. I like it a lot better than Moonlight which I already watch. I hope Fox gives it a chance.
