Pisher, thanks for bringing up Sliders! I've been meaning to check that show out for a while, but since you brought it up, I've just been watching the Pilot and want to thank you for introducing me to an awesome show!

Samantha Who will lose some of DwtS's audience, but will those people switch over to Worst Week? CBS probably needs to worry more that their comedy fans will switch over to ABC for Samantha Who.

ASide note: there should be a rule against shows putting a '?' in the title. Wink

That could be true, but what I think is happening now is more people are probably watching Two and a Half Men, and then switching to the last half hour of DWTS. Without DWTS they may just stay tuned for Worst Week.

Anyway, even if it goes up a little its ratings are pathetic. With the 8:00 sitcoms now beating it with much lower rated time slots, I think it should go right away.

I think that if FOX swapped Prison break and Terminator:SCC, Terminator would rise in the ratings. In this case, the increased competition is not as much of a factor as the HUT level of the timeslot.

However, both shows are essentially equal in terms of ratings failures. They are simply treading water until FOX really starts their season (Idol/24/etc...).

They may be equal failures NOW, but although I personally never cared for it, PB actually was a very successful show for a while there.

SCC has been bleeding audience ever since it started. And last night's SCC ep was only the 14th. Last night's PB ep was the 64th.

So before you go claiming equal failure status for PB, remember that SCC has been a failure from Day One, and Day One wasn't all that long ago.

Geez, I remember Jon Stewart making jokes about PB back during the LAST Presidential election campaign cycle.

T:SCC is stabilizing around 5-6 million viewers so FOX still has a chance to save it for move on the schedule or move it to MyNetworkTV. Look for T:SCC to dominate Chuck in the coming weeks. PB should end this year and do the spin-off next season.

NBC Mondays are dying fast, I mean very fast.

That should be the last episode aired by CBS for Worst Week. It did under 9 million viewers and now its time to be the second cancellation of the season. BBT might be slowly turning into a hit for CBS. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 seasons for shows to get off the ground. If that's the case then Gary should have no problems reaching 9 million viewers or more in a season or two from now.

A full detailed ratings column summarizing everything over the weekend, Sunday, and last night will come at the end of this hour.

Where do you find these 18-34 numbers? Any chance of seeing the 18-34 data for CBS last Friday night? I'm wondering how The Ex-List held up to the other CBS shows in that demo.

I wouldn't count on that. And it hasn't actually reached 6mil viewers in weeks.

I definitely wouldn't count on the latter. And the former would probably just hasten SCC's decline.

They break back into prison?

Didn't they do that already?

I lost track.

SCC will never see a second season--this is just the conclusion of its first season.

Fair enough.

[suote]Not begging for correction, just being prepared for it, because I know it always comes. Wink[/QUOTE] As long as you stay away from repeating incorrect info week after week (like claims that BBT is on its 5th or 6th encore airing of the most recent episode or that BBT won most/all weeks ratings vs. HIMYM) we will be fine.

Worst Week is gone but the rest seem to be holding. I'd just put ROE there and worry about saving CBS Wednesdays at 8 PM.

CBS just needs to dump this. There is no hope for it.

Why wait that long? All it is doing is dragging down the nightly average. I don't know that it has much impact on CSI Miami, but if it does it surely is a negative one.

If that rationale was applied consistently across the board, there'd be one whole hell of a lot of blank timeslots.

The need for immediate cancellation is so much more evident when you don't like the show. Wink

If CBS was smart they'd move How I Met Your Mother to lead off on Wednesdays at 8pm and put Christine on right behind it. Move Gary to Monday at 9:30pm and have Rules of Engagement air behind Big Bang Theory. Once RoE or Gary shows strength one or the other can move back to Wednesdays and move HIMYM back to Mondays at 8:30pm.

Worst Week needs to be canceled by Friday and the new schedule needs to go into effect starting this Monday.

Pisher, I just don't know. I'm starting to run out of ideas for the male skewers on Mondays. The excuses can be made of MNF, TBS Baseball, or WWE Raw, but at this point I just give up. Until FOX or NBC actually cancels their shows they're safe for now.

Don't like the show, but agree Dancing is not going anywhere. If American Idol can keep going and going, so can Dancing.

If you had seen cloris's performance, she didn't really do the jive. These stars do have to take this competition seriously -- learning a new dance in 4 days, spending 12 hours a day -- so it's not a joke and you are obviously a non-viewer.

As good as this is – and it is tremendous – Cloris Leachman on Dancing With the Stars is beginning to wear very thin. While I admire her gusto, I also think this is a competition that needs to be treated more seriously. Don’t you?

DWTS Should be taken as a "Serious" competition???? Are you kidding me???!!!
