I have stopped watching Heroes and PB (those shows jumped the shark long ago), and episodes of Chuck and SCC are piling up on the DVR. It is a shame those last two don't do better.
It seems too many shows are targetting the same audience on Monday nights, and viewers have just given up on all of them. It doesn't bode well for Own Enemy, 24 and Dollhouse.

Well, GA and B&S anyway. DH and UB are "Comedies", remember?
Originally posted by WlcmLAPD: NBC Mondays are equally as dead. Heroes is a loser and now isn't a good lead in. In order for My Own Worst Enemy to open to decent numbers, it is going to have to be a self starter. It can't rely on Heroes to help it out. Chuck should have never gotten a full season renewal this early. It's numbers are awful. Life did about as well on Monday as it did on Friday. Life is a Friday show where it could possibly grow a bit.
At this point, NBC needs to start doing SOMETHING Diiferent with the schedule.
I know you cant replace all the shows, but since most shows are not working in their slots, start moving them around to try and find an audience.
Just imagine what NBC's weekly numbers would look like WITHOUT NFL Sunday Night Football in the mix.
We'll find out this January. If I were NBC, I'd gear up Law and Order and Medium for November launches. Medium for Wed. at 10 out of DOND or that new Momma's Boy and Law and Order on Fridays at 9 out of a relocated Knight Rider and into Life. Chuck could go to Wed. at 8 with DOND relocating to Monday at 8 with Heroes and MOWE swapping slots.
I think they should move Heroes to Wed. They gotta do something about chuck and Heroes -- before even more audience erosion -- Mondays are just a nightmare with every network offering something good.
@ Heroes' numbers! Barely 8 mil, and it coudln't even reach a 4 in the demo? Season 4 will probably be it's last. Like Ugly Betty, it's got to the point where the original fans are giving up, and there aren't any new viewers interested in it.
While I'm enjoying this season, I won't be too annoyed if it ends on it's 4th year. There are only so many times you can save the world before it gets stale.

If you had seen cloris's performance, she didn't really do the jive. These stars do have to take this competition seriously -- learning a new dance in 4 days, spending 12 hours a day -- so it's not a joke and you are obviously a non-viewer.

As good as this is – and it is tremendous – Cloris Leachman on Dancing With the Stars is beginning to wear very thin. While I admire her gusto, I also think this is a competition that needs to be treated more seriously. Don’t you?
DWTS Should be taken as a "Serious" competition???? Are you kidding me???!!!
This is exactly what will happen. I think this conversation will take place for the next two months about the ratings but TSCC isn't going to get cancelled before 13 episodes. They aren't going to change things around because the ratings don't justify the cost to move these shows and really Fox a. doesn't have anything available to replace these shows with until January and b. because really Fox is ok with getting by until American Idol.
PB will last the 13 episodes this fall and be back for the back 9 after or before Dollhouse airs it's 7 episodes in early 09.
Chuck is actually a fun show to watch. It's light, mindless entertainment and I hope it does well. It's in a tough time slot and certainly the crashing Heroes at 9pm isn't helping draw more viewers to it. But, with that said I don't see anywhere on NBC's lineup where it would do better.

The problem is that I can't see a lot of DWTS audience stay there for BL: first, shows aren't good lead-in for scripted series; second, BL is a peculiar series, really "high profile". So, DWTS doesn't help a lot. Always been this way. The problem is that ABC not only failed in giving a compatible lead-in to BL during the years (it has done good also by his own, but of course lead-in can add 1-2M if proper), but also failed in finding a series that could use properly a better share of DWTS audience.
And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.

There is a difference between Heroes and Ugly Betty. Betty is very dependent on Greys. When Greys is new and around, there are more females tuning into the entire night. A lot of people just watching Betty because Greys is new. Last week those viewers weren't there. People, Marc included, seemed to think that the fact Greys wasn't on didn't matter but it does. Betty will probably regain a good chunk of the premiere audience this week. While ratings have no doubt declined, the show still has that ability to be a solid compatible lead in for Greys. Heroes is good for nothing, at this point.

Weren't you predicting Dancing's death this fall? Guess that didn't happen. If the old folks haven't given up on those CBS procedurals at this point, they're not going to give up on Dancing anytime soon.

I know at least three people who have given up on Heroes who are hardcore genre fans- so not a good sign...
And DWTS is gonna tease it out for the whole hour tonight, make it look like someone is going to go, and then "surprise" us with the announcement it's a non elimination week, and that this week and next week's scores will combine for a single elimination next week.
DWTS, you want to surprise me? Eliminate someone tonight, then announce there will be a "second chance" vote between Jeff, Ted, Kim, and whoever goes tonight (likely Cloris)- announce the winner on Good Morning America Wednesday or Thursday, and that person comes back next week.
If Chuck gets canceled on NBC do you see them shopping the series to other networks? Maybe SciFi since they are already airing the repeats? I love chuck and im gonna be extra pissed if it gets canned
