Wow...it looks like FOX is back in the game. It looks like they'll average over 20 million viewers for the week. Is this the biggest week for FOX, besides the Super Bowl? I don't remember seeing numbers like those before, even with American Idol.
Does anyone know what show FOX plans to show after the Super Bowl game? If the strike doesn't end soon, I bet FOX can compete with CBS with the poor programming that CBS has. Kudos to FOX
BTW, what kinda plays were the Packers running in the second half? They could of done a lot better. Sad ending for the season, hopefully next year they can compete again.

FOX football leaves almost nothing (especially demo) for anyoone else.

Crowned encore beats Life is Wild original.

Amazing Race finale goes out well in quality, but poorly in ratings.

FOX is planning an episode of House after the big game if the information out there is still correct.

I'm afraid even to think about what kind of numbers the Super Bowl will get.

yesterday's game did way better than last year and incredibly better than two years ago (43 and 35 millions respectively)

100 million might be possible

>9.5 million viewers and a 3 in the demo is way better than I expected against the football game.

Too bad the #'s were a little low for TAR, but it was a really good finally. I wish Gramps/Skippy would have won, but for a guy who is 69 yrs old he performed really well. I can't wait until the next season. BTW does anyone know what is going on with the next installment? Whether they are taping it yet or have done any casting.

FOX is one lucky channel. The strike plays perfectly for them. CBS is in trouble now

Impossible i think 35-40 million is the mark they're looking at

The CW may have hit an all-time network low with those numbers last night (MyNetworkTV has been lower, however).

ABC is to be commended for getting a salvageable A18-49 number with their skedding of the fresh 2-hour Extreme Makeover episode.

And the CBS news documentary on Global Warming got a pretty decent viewership and demo given that probably every single viewer that watched their playoff championship game switched over to FOX.

NBC got nondescript ratings for a nondescript line-up.

I agree those are not bad numbers for TAR considering. The demo number is higher than it was many weeks last spring. As for the conclusion, yes it was entertaining and gramps actually id well last night, it was Jr that lost the race for them. I say time to take him to the wood shed gramps.

This could be the highest rated SB ever, or at least the most watched. Of course a lot will depend on whether the Giants can hang. Well, in any case, even the low rated Super Bowls average close to 90 million so no crying for FOX or the NFL either way.

Forget the final score - how many shots of Papa Manning burying his face in his arms do you think we will see during the Super Bowl? I'll say 14
.

It was a mistake to program against this game, but I'm glad TAR was able to at least hit a 3.0. I expected lower numbers.

I think EM:HE was the big loser. It was MUCH less in line with its season average than TAR was (which was about a 3.5 vs. EM:HE's 4.0+).

IDK if it is luck that they have Idol and payed more money for the NFL than the GDP of some third world countries.

As for CBs they are in no more trouble than ABC and NBC, all the nets other than FOX are losing big time. Actually, FOX is losing as well because of the strike. Imagine if FOX could combine these numbers with a full slate of House, Bones and 24. The strike really hurts the enrire industry.
